I think Manchester United need a DM with defense and pass(forward)skills.There's no doubt about his defensive ability, but pass skills... I don't know. I think he's a player with obvious strengths and weaknesses. I'm sorry that I didn't speak English well.😅

We had Teams slicing through us last season Because our "DMs" don't have have the legs. We need a guy like this who will cut passes out and also Cut backs in to the Box! It was starting to piss me off the amount of Goals we was conceding due to cut backs and no one being there to cut it out. The only worry I have is the slide tackles. Nowadays in Football you can't make a challenge and even if you do you get a Yellow card.

For the price it's a good buy, plus they were raving about him the season before. He had a bad season but he's quality. I say keep amrabat and buy him too if affordable

He is ok. However United should spend big on Wharton, then resign Amrabat, bring in Matt de ligt on loan and get zirkzee. Taking a risk on Whatton even for as high as 70m is worth it...he is Carrick reborn and Carrick revolutionized united DM position

@martinlogan8329 Wharton disrupts play, also knows how to win the ball, receive the ball with his ba k to goal, and he is excellent in distribution and calm under pressure (press resistant). Carrick was very similar in style ...he was never the gattuso makelele type destroyer...more control merchant. This role is more important for United than a destroyer who looses the ball constantly
