What I really love about this is that even though Mao Mao doesn't have any fancy gadgets or a powerful suit of armor, he still shows his incredible strength when his only weapon is a golden katana and his extreme reflexes. He may be small, but he's got a lot of strength in that sword arm of his.

Shin Mao grew arrogant, vain, and complacent, having become reliant on his golden exo-suit and a narcissistic parent who cared more about his reputation plus his favoritism with his daughters than Mao Mao's feelings. His botched confrontation with the Shadow Dragon forced him out of his comfort zone and learn a little humility the hard way.

Mao Mao is a total badass. He doesn't need fancy armor, or special powers, he beats the bad guys with the power of light and sheer willpower to do the right thing.

This says a lot. His father gave his siblings op weapons and all he gave Mao Mao was (what everyone else called it anyway) a sharp glow stick. This he's not badass from his weapon, he got that level from determination and sheer will power. Shin even thought he could only beat that creature in his armor, and Mao Mao was able to beat that thing in a matter of moments.

Do you know when you think about it sometimes it’s the smaller heroes that are the more mighty ones for examples Kirby, yoda, mario, sonic, and rimuru tempest. Mao mao is definitely one of my top favorite heroes I can’t wait for season three, where I hope in some episodes they will introduce mao mao’s sisters.

I noticed his eyes were always dialated as a child (a trait to signify cats are happy), but after he lost his tail, they were always slitted. Losing his tail really screwed him up, it was the last straw.

This fight here, this entire spectacle here, is where Shin realized his son had potential all this time to be the greatest he could ever be, no matter how small you are...and he never gave the time to nuture that potential.
