I LOVE the Atelier series and I too lament how hard it is to find other people who are into it. This show doesn't really have a particularly similar tone, but I love them both for very different reasons, and I can certainly understand why this show brings Atelier to mind. Hope you have/had a great time with the show!

I don't remember when the last time a show picked my interest like this, I finished the novel .The last one was Re Zero in 2015, before that was Madoka Magica, In 2011. in 2009 gurren lagann. when I was teenager it's was berserk In 2004.The apothecary diaries easily became my favorite show, and I could say Maomao is my favorite female character in the last 10 years, maybe even better for me than Hitagi and Homura. Enjoy the show.
