Bitterness Lava Cake
Moist Chocolate Cake:
2 cups all purpose flour
3 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
3/4 cup cocoa powder, unsweetened
1 tsp instant coffee powder
2 cups brown sugar
1 tbsp white vinegar
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1 tsp vanilla essence
2 cups hot water
Cream filling:
500ml all purpose cream, chilled overnight
390g condensed milk, chilled overnight
1 tbsp gelatine,clear&unflavored(soaked in 1 tbsp water)
1/8 cup hot water
Ganache:
500g dark chocolate, chopped
2 cups evaporated milk(hot)
Topping:
1 cup caramel fudge(more or less)
This recipe is inspired by the famous 'Pinakamapait na Lava cake ni Langga.' This cake is made of moist chocolate cake, whipped cream, dark chocolate ganache, and caramel fudge. 'Pinakamapait' is used to describe it because the ganache is extremely bitter. But even though the cake is bitter, it is also scrumptious. Miss Langga has already sold plenty of her Bitterness Lava Cake nationwide. Sometimes she can produce 3,000 tubs of the cake in a day.
