on JackSucksAtGeography we upload a range of easy to watch geography related games. We mainly play Sporcle games like "naming all 197 countries". I successfully learned all 197 countries and plan to learn more Geography trivia. On this channel I also play Geoguessr. This is a game that uses Google Street View to drop you in a random location and you have to work out exactly where you are on the worldwide map. Geoguessr was created in 2013. I think we're taught that the Roman Empire was the greatest empire because it was so large, existed for so long and was one of the first major societies. In comparison, the Mongol empire was large but it only existed for around 160 years (compared to Rome's 1000 years), and was a nomadic society.

@@nataliemelody1501 1) the British Empire was one of the least brutal empires of all time. 2) Jack has expressed disdain for the British Empire many a time 3) The British Empire wasn’t the biggest empire of all time: The size of the British Empire is based on the idea that they were allowed to count uninhabited areas of Canada, Antarctica and Australia that they never exercised control over (with soldiers of authority) and that UN law says they can’t really claim (eg. land above the Arctic Line isn’t really allowed to be claimed). So, we must be fair: we allow the British Empire these lands, as we do others like the Ancient Egyptian Empire or Mali Empire, so we must with the Mongol Empire. With that ideology we must allow the Mongols all of Siberia, *making the Mongol Empire larger than the British Empire.* That makes the British Empire the second largest empire ever. The patterns on the giraffes are caused by the amount and the heat of the sun, in the hotter climates, the giraffes have smaller black spots so their white colour can reflect the heat, in the colder climates the giraffes have bigger black spots so they can absorb more heat. Just like if you leave a fully white interior and exterior car in the sun, it would be cooler than a fully black car. Love from New Zealand, the land of sheep and funny maps

You can't travel west and in a straight line unless you're directly on the equator. And the problem isn't running out of physical space, it's running out of habitable space. You're still right that we've plenty to handle the 11bn cap we're set to hit in the next few decades, but it's worth mentioning that large swaths of empty land are empty for a reason.
