Georgia decided to troll me one last time.
Playing Kublai Khan of Mongolia, Deity difficulty, Steppe map (from Alternate Cartography mod, you can find it on the mod list below), standard size map, standard game speed.

First series of yours I’ve seen and I’ve really enjoyed it regardless, thank you😊 I really like how you explain your thought process and decision making and don’t talk as though everything is obvious, helps me learn the game better

You've tried so hard, and gone so far... In the end it doesn't even matter if that fighter wasn't there. Could you have held the city (or anything, really) if they declared a military emergency? I'd love to see someone (you especially) take this seed and, knowing what you know now (you can't tech-race Korea, you can't out-religion Georgia, you can't expand), treat this as a scenario and go. It would definitely still be a hard and entertaining game.

It almost caused physical pain to see that ,and brings back bad memories. I can't say how many of my games went like this but very early. Amazing how you went ahead despite these unfair starting conditions and akward circumstances. I bet there will be another attempt soon 🥳

This is like the civ equivalent of Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid charging the bolivian army. I know it's a myth that polish cavalry charged against german tanks in 1939, but the mental image of a gloriously futile attack against vastly superior enemy, that's' what I'm seeing here. I'm very entertained. I wouldn't mind watching this game to the end when Kora launches a space rocket. It can't be too far.

The only idea I had require A LOT of preparation, canalization of that lake, and spam battleship, who can blast city having 3 tiles of range and anti air defence.. But after that, even continue the pursuit could be a significant hazard, and any type of victory seems pretty screwd.. Dunno man 😅

Sad to hear that you censer the games you play and only post ones that are successful I have watched since the Japan civ 5 series and always believed that you won because of skill and not just because you only post games you win. The comments in past videos were saying how entertaining seeing a struggle of a game instead of you just rolling over the AI. LEGENDOFTOTALWAR explained why people do this but I still disagree.

He 100% said that. because I said that i have been watching since civ 5 japan? 100% have been. because people in the comments said they found the struggle entertaining and enjoyable? the comments 100% have those in it. because Legend gives breakdowns of analytics and censoring content for the youtube algorithm? he 100% talks about that. Would you like to try your comment again and provide any real information?

@@ch420newsteam Firstly, I don't think you fully understand what the word censor means, secondly, if you've been watching since 2016 then you know that he has uploaded a few games where he lost...so your point is moot.
