I don't know who is the soprano. I believe this wonderful live concert was recorded in San Francisco in 1974 (when he was principal in SFS). If anyone has more details, please let me know.

Very few could summon the musicality and phenomenal tone that Lifschey had. Maybe the late Ronny Roseman, John Mack, and more recently, Steve Taylor. Still, Lifschey was one of a kind.
