I CALLED this shyt YEARS ago right after he quit on the field and went LEFT on Tom Brady and I don't feel sorry for him at all!

First , AB got kicked out the arena league because he didn't pay his bills. AB is 35 and still flexing and stunting for approval from 16-19yr/olds. It also doesn't help that he's surrounded by "yes men" and "yes family". That's why he does what he does. It's catching up to him. I also think the mental tool of him pissing away $30M is gonna weigh on him even more going forward. All wounds self-inflicted.

The reason he’s broke is bc he foolishly made enemies with the wrong people. He treated the Arena league like it was Mickey Mouse but there are some powerfully people involved. He also spent a fortune on designer clothes & jewelry which as you know is almost a complete loss. I pity the jeweler or pawn shop owner that has to tell him all those chains he bought for $100+k each are only worth their weight & that what he paid for was the jeweler’s “art”. I was in a pawn shop where AI only got $12k for a chain he paid $200k for. He got ripped off so bad the pawn broker felt sorry for him & gave him more than its weight’s worth. The reason AI is broke isn’t bc he supported so many people it’s bc he got ripped off by a team of conmen & he wasted millions on gambling & bottle service in the club every night.

I always marvel when I see athletes getting fined $50K, $100K, and more and acting like it's nothing because they have millions today. However, those fines could've generated interest for the next forty or fifty years and could be worth millions. It's not what you earn but what you keep; instead of trying to keep up with the Jones, why not drag them down to your level. (Actually, you shouldn't even worry about the Jones.)

Unfortunately far too many people are thing driven….especially black folks. How many have read the Rich Dad/Poor Dad book? How many people truly understand the difference between Orange/green money? Now you’re spot on about value. Chad Johnson is the perfect example of a guy who knew his value. Lastly…people need to realize that asking for help isn’t weak. AB can right the ship but he needs to get out of his own way. And people need to become financially educated beyond simple principles. When you are now making six/seven figures, there’s a clock ticking on the cash grab. And during that grab, you have to learn why LLCs are used to protect assets, how bad spending habits need to be corrected and forecasting becomes primary. Hopefully these current players are getting those free lessons and the rest of us are asking the right questions.

AB actually is broke. He lists only $50k in assets, but has over $200k in credit card debt and $3 million in civil suit judgments. Even worse for AB is the fact he has destroyed his brand and doesn't have viable options to monetize his experience and success as an NFL football player. You will never see him as an on-air analyst and has burnt his bridges with the Pittsburg fanbase.

Forgive me! But, I am going to say this before watching this clip! I am a Pittsburgh Steelers’ fanatic! And, I saw this coming when he left us! Following the shot that AB took in that regular season game against Cleveland that year! AB had never fully recovered from that! It were a concussion, but more importantly, he were never the same (a mental health issue)! His eggs were scrambled and he should never have been allowed to play until he had been given a psychological evaluation for at least a year! But, his problems soon developed shortly there after that hit! First, with Big Ben and later with Miami and Tampa Bay! It extended to his personal life (domestic assault) and some drug charges later on! Now, finally spends by up all of his money after leaving the game the way that he did!

Bankruptcy is favored tool for that that simply don't want to pay their creditors. Mike Vick is prime example. Black folk acted like he was a hero for paying what owed. He only did it because the bankruptcy judge forced him to. The whole time he was never truly broke or even close being unemployed.

Uhh... Your missing all the context around this man. A few things VERY important to this specific situation. One, AB made somewhere close to a 100 million in his career. He has pretty much nothing to show for the money, and by that I mean his assets aren't even close to the amount of money he's spent. Which implies a few things, one he spent most of his money on illegal things or through illegal means. Or 2, he has a bunch of really bad, private investments, which could be things from Business to high priced escorts. I personally don't know him, or his true lifestyle, I'm just speculating. And another really important aspect your completely missing is that AB is extremely notorious for NOT paying people that he clearly owes money. It's one of the reasons he's been in trouble... Multiple times now. And this is all important because the reality is AB either actually has the money, and is commitment fraud by trying to claim bankruptcy. Which is actually what I believe is happening here. Because AB doesn't like paying people he's legally obligated to pay, for whatever reason, I believe he thinks filing bankruptcy will get him out of having to pay the many people he owes. Which is wrong, not just morally, but it also because he would still owe those people. And remember AB has shown, through countless examples, that he's a complete dumb ass, and is one of the worst decisions makers to EVER exist. Which means this actually lines up with who he is, and has been. Of course, he also could of spent all the money he made, and truly be broke. I suppose we will find out as time goes on. Either way it's just another sad chapter in the AB saga. When he was in Pittsburgh, his first 5 years or so, he was one of my favorite players in the league, and. In no way a Steelers fan. But the way his story has changed has been horrible, I really hope there's no more victims going forward from him, but sadly history has shown that there most likely will beany more victims because of ABs absolute stupidity and just being a P.O.S..
