Doubt you'll see this, but just in case. As a South African it's spelled that way because it's either Afrikaans or Dutch in origin and is pronounced more like "beerst." It essentially means cow in this context.

Fate reforged was set in the past of tarkir at the turning point when either the dragons or khans would seize the plane while dtk and ktk where both set at the same time but after and before sarkhan had tampered with the timeline. Because the original monastery mentor was in fate reforged it can be assumed it was a Jeskai monk (as evidenced by the watermark) while the MOM printing is presumably an ojutai monk. Also I prefer the dragons timeline.

Fun fact about Nahiri at 1:03:20 ish. Nahiri is unfamiliar with zendikars roil (which causes zendikars now signature unstable landscape) because it wasn't a thing when she lived there. Nahiri is many millenia old and has been trapped in the helvault on Innistrad by Sorin until fairly recently. The roil awakened as a sort of immune system due to the trapped phyrexians presence during her time stuck in a box. When she got back to zendikar not only was the ancient kor civilisation she was part of gone, but the whole landscape of the plane was now constantly shifting and unstable. Her clash with Nissa in the recent zendikar set was pretty much : Nahiri:"The roil is new and prevents setting up large scale stable cities. It probably caused the fall of my old civilisation. We should get rid of it." Nissa:"The roil is only new to you because you've been in a box for thousands of years, for the current people of zendikar it has been part of life as far back as they can remember. We should keep it."
