I have had two business partners, each I brought in after I built my brand. The first one broke off with a new store using the same name but pluralizing the name, stole our customers and told them all that I was still involved. The second guy undercut our prices to sell more product at the same run-of-the-mill brand prices after I had spent two years building a premium brand. No more partners.

I have been watching your videos on youtube and I must say that I am impressed on how smart and mature you are, you are an honest person and in this business its everything. listening and learning from mistakes is HUGE. Being able to self critisize, correct and grow is the key to success. Anthony, I thought that you had enough knowledge to understand that when you have a business with someone, you work only together. To start up another business of training others to deal in watches takes you away from the main business and distracts you from that. Obviously nobody wats to loose large amounts and to get robbed like that, Marko is lucky to be alive, but it is your joint loss, not his as you are suggesting. Your on watch collection was obtained with the help of Marko in building the business and putting up a couple of watched to hold the business together is nothing at all. Even if you loose the watches, you have the business provided you work together and not seperate your interests. You should automatically include Marko in the new business at 50% or better still drop it completly. Why train others to compete with your own business. Your video looks like a spoilt child has lost its toys. You arte part bof a team and Marko is the other half of you. Support him and dont work against him, thats real stupid.

some good points raised here however there are multiple core areas in a business and if it is as Anthony says, he was running ops, media and the majority of the sales. I can understand him being disgruntled if that was the case. Your point about them being in a joint business and him being restricted to that business is garbage and anyone successful in business would call you out on that one. 1. Spend 50% of your time in your businesses and 50% growing them. 2. Put a value on your time eg an hourly rate or daily rate. 3. Hire jockeys for the work you are not good at eg i have never understood why people spend nights balancing books when they could hire a bookeeper and be spending that time doing marketing and networking and chasing new business. 4. Never restrict that 50% time of marketing on 1 revenue stream. Anthony was simply growing his businesses and creating new revenue streams eg the coaching, the merch, the second channel, the new location. They were all about growth. He had hired an ops manager in (Jimmy), he had hired good sales people (Alfred & Vik), he had hired a bookeeper. He was doing all the right things. As for putting up his watch collection, yes that was the right thing to do, I do not think he feels that it wasn't but it would have stung, just as the gamble on the penhouse would have stung but you take risks in business, some you win and some you loose. Marco is lucky he has Jimmy because what Anthony says is true, Marco is a technician, Anthony is an entrepreneur, you need entrepreneurs, technicians and managers in a business. Anthony was good at 2 of those, Marco at 1.

Anthony is in the business of fake it till ya make it. Ironically he was close to making it, he had the Texas Business running well shortly before the luxury cars and flashing. Imagine having gone without that just good content. The guy would be on top of the watch channels now. Amazing how this stuff can go. Absolute prime example of how faking it never really works out.

I seen it coming to. He was throwing away to much money. If I were the investor I would be pissed - it looked like he was paying himself before the investor. most of the money they were making should have went back to the investor before buying lambos and $50,000 dinners.

I completely agree. Their channel was the first watch channel I watched, before Producer Michael, before Timepiece Trading, before Kevin O'leary, before anyone. If they had just focused on shooting at their small store with content focused on buying and selling, they would probably be the kings on KZfaq in regards to watch channels. Anthony is more enamored with the lifestyle than the watches. The watches are a means to an end, not an actual passion for him. It's really a shame because like you said, these guys would be top dogs on KZfaq if they had moved slowly. A lot of watch dealers have cornered the market by now, in regards to celebrity clientele and the KZfaq audience.
