I have four sons and two daughters. One of them is called Garvey, the other is Marcus . I stumbled over the book titled “ More Opinions and Philosophies of Marcus Garvey” at the university library. That was the first time I had a full access to the mighty works of this great black man. The book was so dear to me . I later found out that the early Pan Africanist like Kwame Nkrumah , Nnamdi Azikiwe ( Zik of Africa ) and many others were inspired by the teachings of Garvey. May we wake up ! May the spirit of Garvey send a a wind of pan Africanism to revive black people world over. In our days , May we see Africa fully United as one republic. May we once again take over the leadership of this great creation as the creator has purposed.

The same mental agility and passion that Garvey had is found in all of us naturally. Dig deep and find your natural intelligence. Indeed, I am from the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) , I learned on the first new Negro the inspired and prophet Marcus Garvey from secondary school in the 80s. I am very happy to hear his long speech interview mostly when he defend the cause of the black man in general, so happy to hear he pronounced and denounced how Belgians exploited abusevly the richness of Congo my country. I heard Bob Marley and Peter Tosh, Burning Spear and many reggae pioneers sung his qoutes. Today you make me hear on his voice and his words. I am black and proud to black too and I have many white people who are very good close friends to me and to my work and to my family. Thank you Great Garvey for what you have done for us. RIP big man of big heart.

It's sad to hear My brother preaching his soul out...knowing black man is our own defeat. If we must free our mine we must first believe in our mind power. Black man was bread to kill our national heros we must free up..Marcus Gravey was hated by many black Americans seen as heros today, as the white man would wanted it to be forever....but I am free I am Marcus Garvey incarnated in spirit in words in deeds if you dont believe i dont give a dam....because like he said his words will never die.. as a Jamaican Afro African am a king, a Man, and beyond a man of self proclaimed ruler of the world.....that I will create if you dont know it look for it "lilly's" in the century of centuries waiting to exhale Marcus now and forever.... white people across the globe hated us, its skin deep Marcus stated,,,,, but we must become ruler in order to look upon as a Man well that I am... that I will be because my freedom is not bought by America fake constitution nor fake civil movement my freedom is truly bought by my Ancestors blood and mal-treatment by the white people now and past..as it is skin deep it will be forever...but my mind is my freedom my hatchet my needle in the haystack my government in this world am not rule by any government nor by any religious power am free am brave if you dont believe who cares watch me.. let me show you how it ought to be done.....security.....money...education..power is what I am..one love see you in the hereafter and now.

BELOVED, these were SAD moments. Sooooo many people, (including the imbecile interviewing) did so much EVIL, to Silence ONE MAN.The tragedy of it All, is that many of those people were black..Amazing. The truth is that it is obvious that Marcus Garvey was pure genius and better than most of us.. His mental agility was such that even in the midst of adversity he stood firm. He was so sound on the law that it is astounding. Sad that they cut out the KKK parts that Marcus talks about.

Mr. Reverend Ry - could you point us to where this recording is sourced from? At 40:06 > 40:28 'He' talks about 80 years later and Neutron Bombs and AIDS' ?? Is this really Marcus Garvey? Was AIDS around and called AIDs in 'those' times when he was supposed to have made these statements?? 1925??? (He even sounds at times more 'Guyanese' than Jamaican, though I know accents change through times etc.) And the One Love thing?? Is this an actor?) I thought it was actual Garvey speaking but now I wonder. Am I missing something? What kind of weirdness is this?? I would like to hear his relatives or son etc. endorse this as really Garvey speaking. Where is this recording taken from?? I am from Jamaica and really would love to know more about this fascinating speech. Thanks.
