I also think Ginny's mum scared him with her Let Ginny go speech. Georgia sewed seeds of doubt into Marcus' already very fragile mind. But Ginny and Marcus just fit together ❤

@@karalynnlovison1998 I don’t think Ginny will go back to hunter… I mean this is not like the typical cliche series, if it were they wouldn’t have broken up because of marcus depression, I think next season they will focus on him, Abby and press, the whole Georgia in jail thing and marcus and Ginny will find their way back to each other

They didn't end up together but they end in good terms. It wasn't because they didn't want to be together, before, Ginny needed Marcus, as support and as boyfriend, but now Marcus needs her as support but as friend, not girlfriend.

That’s the problem with Ginny, she seems to be more focused on what she’s going through which she’s actually kind of just putting it on herself a bit. When they broke up and Marcus even explained that he was going through it as well she was too focused him not leaving her…

@@lieumiyan8162 No but this is why Season 2 was so good, because Ginny actually realised that and apologised for it. That last episode where they sort things out is sweet and it's nice to see some character development and Ginny being likable without it being unrealistic.

that is a perfect description, all the bright places was an incredible book to read and the parallels between Finch+Violet and Ginny+Marcus are stunning when i begin to think about it. this is gonna be very deep and im gonna probably overshare but you know what better place than the internet haha. im scared im going to get caught up in my feelings and not notice the people around me- i keep thinking that im missing something and i don't- AAAAAAAAAAA feelings are frustrating and i dont want to miss anyone's, i want to help if they need help and be there for them and im scared i won't. there's just so many people hurting around me in completely different ways. so many i don't understand. its a lot and i have to help them/let them know im here but its just so much. i need to focus on myself as well but i don;t know how without feeling guilty or worrying about others or hurting others by not paying attention. where's the line? the line to distancing others that are affecting me badly with their problems and me being self centered. its exhausting, im exhausted.

@@HesterAnadilF0REVER i get ur frustration. i’ve learned throughout the years that balancing companionship and depression/any mental illness is always give and take. the right people will respect your limits, and only you know when you have the capacity to let them in. if you find yourself spreading thin between being there for others and yourself, then nurse yourself a little, then them, then back to you, then back to them. it’s a process; like a relationship. it takes mending and there are good and bad days. you dig a hole, you’ll eventually hit water. i hope anything i said helps you ♥️ this coming from someone who is still going through it *also, communication is key :) tell them if you’re at a low point and whether you need space or not and give them the same courtesy. people meant for people always find their way back to each other.

@@punsiella thank you so much, i kinda needed to hear that. although i do now feel like i've accidentally faked something as i haven't been diagnosed at all and no one really knows what's been happening (myself included)... your words nevertheless mean a lot especially as im finding myself dipping again which is quite frankly terrifying considering how bad its gotten before. wooo :( ♥ ♥

I don't think Georgia should have killed Tom either, but I don't hate it as part of the show. I think it's an essential scene to really understand her as a character. Georgia's intentions are good. Like Ginny says at the end, being loved by Georgia means having someone who will fight for you with all she has. I don't think she should have killed Tom, and I don't think she should be forgiven for it. BUT for all it's worth, I think it shows in her own twisted way that she actually cares for Cynthia, and she cares for the people around her. She wanted Cynthia to be free and happy, and as wrong as the method was, it would have worked out if it hadn't ever been found out. I repeat - I don't think she should have done it. But she's spent all her life learning that in order to protect the people she loves, she has to be ready to do unimaginable things. She's had to take abuse, she's had to embezzle money, she's had to lie, to run, even to kill. Her life has been like this since she was young. She's never seen healthy and normal living, she's never been allowed to just trust that life will make things right by itself. She always had to take matters into her own hand. And I'm fully convinced, that by killing him she thought she was doing everyone a favour. Cause out of all the people, she was the only one capable of killing someone and living with the psychological consequences. She had done it before, and although she isn't someone evil who wants to kill, she's definitely someone who is ready to do so if she's convinced it's the only way out. And I think this second season made it pretty clear that although she's confident and cheerful on the outside, Georgia is actually a really scared, sad and insecure person. She is convinced not to be worthy of love, she tries to absorb all the negative emotions of the people she loves, not caring one bit about the her own psychological wellbeing. Cynthia was in pain. Georgia saw that, and for her the solution was for Tom to die. He wouldn't die on his own, so someone had to help. No one could do that and live with the knowledge and guilt of having done that, apart from her. She could, and she did.
