I think Marcus struggles with more than effort. He looks truly lost in translation defending. Your energy affects the whole team, the forwards set the tone for the defensive work, the team don't know what Marcus is going to do next. He rarely closes ppl down the right way, he don't look like he is trying even. And when he is not involved he looks lost, his positioning is so confusing. He is there but he is not when it comes to defense
