Hello! I’ve been a bit quiet lately but I’m delighted to be sharing some new music with you again. For all those gamer dudes (and dudettes) out there, you might have heard this on Steam already, but if you haven’t, it’s a soundtrack that I’m immensely proud of and can’t wait for you to hear. I'm so happy you got picked up by a game dev. I'm really hoping this becomes the exposure for you to shuttle forward, seeing as how you absolutely deserve it! You've always been an inspiration for many independent music composers for years now, and I know you've been trying to make a break through, sharing with us that one show you auditioned your music for a few years back (sadly can't remember the name of the show, not that it matters since your music wasn't used haha). I have been waiting for this

Early access came out just a couple of days ago. When I first launched it, this track thundered in and I just sat in awe, ignoring my friends in our Discord call. Bloody outstanding. I'm also somewhat reminded of Phil Lober's piece "Alive"; another favourite.

I actually found your music because of the game, both are awesome!

One of the best game soundtracks ever composed. The emotional impact this soundtrack had on the vast deep space experience of the game was phenomenal. I don't play Starbase anymore (no time to game) but I listen to this soundtrack on Spotify religiously while I work.

Hi Marcus! I first discovered your music around the end of last year on Spotify with the song Tale of Sea Dragons. I absolutely loved it and to this day is one of my favorite uplifting cinematic tracks! I just started cinematic composing at the end of last year as a holiday project and I'm so glad to hear some amazing production with sampled libraries and also now combined with real instruments- just watched the behind the scenes from Rerise EP and I'm going to invest in a mic and start using real instruments as well- thanks for all the tips. I was having a fun time vibing to “Octacia”, “To build an army”, and “friendship is magic”, but then they became private videos. Now I am sad. I know I don’t know anything but the fact that they are private videos, and that judging by where “a united land” is the videos are old, but I would like them back. I've heard this before, didn't know it was you! I'm glad it is though! You Legend!

This reminds me of when I played Space Engineers with my friend, we started on a planet and I was having trouble after trouble when all my plans involved being in space. I tried plan after plan to go to space with minimal designs because I wanted to rush to the stars until eventually I just decided to jetpack there. I went for a long time, reaching the edge of space, then I ran out fuel. I don't know why I cared so much, maybe it was late and I was getting delirious, maybe I am just dramatic, but I remember being pretty sad seeing me be that close and having to fall all the way back to earth.
