I've never seen somebody embody a drunk performance so brilliantly and so flawlessly in my life like Evan Peters did. He gave so many different nuances to it that felt so authentic. Not to mention his mannerisms and accent and expressions were so deeply accurate as well. Evan Peters, you completely deserve that Emmy and you are simply beyond PHENOMENAL!!!!

I think Evan is so insecure about himself as an actor and maybe that's the reason he's always trying to do something new in his scenes. It seems like he's never confident about what he is doing with his acting. Some people may think that's a weakness but I do think it's totally the opposite. That ''insecurity'' makes him a very creative and genuine actor, also he looks so real and natural on camera. It's so great that he's finally being recognized for it. He's amazing.

I think Evan is brilliant in everything I've seen him in but I get the feeling that the reason he is so insecure is probably because there must have been a lot of projects he was up for but didn't get after auditioning. Cause it is a bit surprising to me that he hasn't landed a huge role other than AHS at this point. I'm sure he too expected more. He has the talent, charisma and fan base (from what I see) so I don't know why he doesn't get bigger roles

Could have something to do with it. He has joked about loosing out on a few big auditions, he was almost Petyr in The Hunger Games. It could also have something to do with the circumstances around how he came to Hollywood as a kid. The photographer who "discovered" him back in Michigan and basically arranged for him to move to LA is a guy called "bob lamb" a quick Google search should let you know why his closeness to Evan when Evan was a 14/15 year old is troubling. Hollywood is a murky place.

I assumed it was partly because he's starting to enter an awkward age where he can't play the same boyish roles anymore but doesn't look like a masculine leading man, either. His fanbase is mostly teenage girls so he isn't taken seriously as an adult actor. Sort of like late growing pains.

@@hollywoodshopaholic might be something to it but I'm sure he has a lot of older fans too cause we are the ones who watched AHS when it started. I'm his age and most of the people I know that are my age know him and like him. And I do think he looks his age now and can play mature roles

Kate. Wow. She is the rock upon which other actors stand. It’s very obvious what Evan is doing. The craft the skill the experience and sheer magnitude of talent and generosity in her scenes with others is not so obvious. No neediness. Just a steady brilliant actor. She blows me away. The writer is so generous here giving them credit for their input. That’s rare. Great teamwork

1) EP always looks good. 2) He’s been acting a lot longer than he gives himself credit for - also been with AHS vs other opportunities. 3) Kate has been a acting a LONG time so she can understand EP’s POV. 4) I’m 100% still salty they killed off Zabel - why on earth kill off this lovely guy!?!?? So wrong! 5) EP deserves the Emmy but he’s up against 3 dudes from Hamilton - why can’t he catch a break🙄

@@charmedprince Absolutely! I just watched it and even though his death was spoiled for me it didn't ruin it for me. It actually gave me this experience of sympathising more with him I think, it just made it more sad. By the way, I watched the show mainly because Evan is in it, but I loved it for everything else too, it is excelent!

The drunkness and rawness of this scene is hands down the best part of the show., brilliantly executed. You forget you're watching a show, damn it. He really really REALLY nailed it. I'm so sad he felt like he was failing the scene since everybody knew it was the complete opposite - but I can relate to that insecurity 100%

With respect to you Kate Winslet, we loved this show at my house. I also have to say that I hope you bring the show back in some form. Also I became such a fan of Zabel. So glad he won an Emmy! We need to keep an eye on him. Reminds me of a young Steve McQueen. Enjoyed making of a scene! Bravo!

I just decided to rewatch it and it’s such a brilliant show but man Evan peters character beings something huge it, they really needed a properly good character like that who was lovely and they knew that so nothing could have been more shocking than him hitting the ground. I just could not see that coming and you really miss him the next two episodes…

El chico es agradable pero siento que él es bien inestable ,en actuacion no se da cuenta de su potencial no sabe explotarlo ,lo veo y es un actor tremendo que no ha sabido aprovecharlo, lo veo como quicksilver y carismatico el personaje ,lo veo como ek asesino March y es un sadico gracioso con un diferente acento,lo veo como seductor el chico btrasmite esa sensualidad que tiene (para mi el chico no es guapisimo tampoco feo )pero la sensualidad que proyecta carisma y sonrisa lo es todo,no se qie mas proyectos tenga pero siento que en Dahmer tiene que estar nominado a los Emmy

He played a drunk scene here so it will sound a bit like Dahmer but the Delaware and Milwaukee accent is not that different.
