In the months before her election as Prime Minister of United Kingdom, Fifth Estate host Adrienne Clarkson interviews Margaret Thatcher. In the late 70’s the UK had been gripped by a series of public sector strikes, and in this interview Thatcher reflects on the union movement and explains what she would do if elected PM to minimize the power of the labour movement.

It's strange that Thatcher complaining that service essential to life must be essential to all the public, i would have thought food would come into that category and that for a number of years her Tory government has been depriving some of her citizens of the most basic in life as in food hence the reason why foodbanks are in their thousands all over the UK this seems to be against what Thatcher was saying in this video
