Erm well it's because ..... erm ..... well .... er ... it's because - actually yes it is because those private schools ...... er if you take all schools in the round where the provision is for schools and the Labour Party has always supported this you will find it is because rather than reduce the learning strategies as voted for repeatedly by the Front bench and actually voted down every time by the Government we will see a net increase in investment that reflects a childs ability and not where they happen to live unlike the postcode lottery of this present governments shameless approach to these issues down dogmatic partisan lines etc etc

Not a great choice of video to reflect that time in recent history but obviously biased. She is the last person we need as prime minister now. I’m old enough to view politics through the 70s n 80s and Mrs Thatcher was so distructful (excuse me I have dyslexia and tinnitus and for years thought I had tiny tits in me ears). Mrs Thatcher in my opinion has destroyed the community of every day normal working people and corporation/council estates throughout the uk. @@andysedgley It was very unparliamentary language and made her look a complete prat, but Tarzan was actually Heseltine's nickname in the Commons. It dates back to the 70s, from an incident where Heseltine was (quite rightly) upset that the Labour government had cheated with the vote pairing system, but didn't express his anger in the most becoming way (he grabbed the mace off the table and went for the front bench!). Can't imagine any current MPs doing that, but I'd love to have seen it!

I can tell you exactly how. Labour has had women only shortlists of candidates and militant groups have taken over moderate local groups. Her constituency is one with a high proportion of immigrants so, at election time Labour Party a will collect the voting cards from the people who have no idea of what a democratic, free election is and vote on their behalf. After the last but one election there were six prosecutions for that crime, only in Labour constituencies.

Dianne Abbott was the first black woman to become an MP. She was a trailblazer and deserves to be allowed to run as an MP if she so wishes. After careful consideration Starmer made the correct decision. Labour aren’t as ruthless as the Tories. This may make them more vulnerable at the ballot box. But there’s more important issues than this and with a 20 per cent lead in the polls the dithering shouldn’t cost them many votes. The opponents of Labour are trying to make a mountain out of a molehill. Tory infighting is far more significant.

Abbott is one of the reasons, we need to set terms on how many parliaments/ governments an mp can be part of. It should be limited to 3 before they have to take the same 3 away from all forms of public office. Then the public would not have to put up with the total incompetence and pointless crap from the likes of Abbott. Who has done nothing for the public in all her time as an mp. But she has made herself a multi millionaire and stopped her criminal son going to prison.

I adored Margaret Thatcher. Loved the film the Iron Lady. That was so sad but showed her grit, courage and vulnerability when her son went missing....or maybe that was in the Crown series. After Churchill who was adored in New Zealand , as well as around the world. Margaret Thatcher was my favourite.

Listen to Abbot on Desert Island Discs talking about when she was in Primary School. In Primary School how she, Abbot wrote these wonderful stories and how she got wonderful high marks. On her words my stories were famous and renowned. Her teacher had given her a fail because she believed Abbot had copied the story from another text. Abbot you can see brought up the story to not only talk about how clever and wonderful she was but also to cast aspersions, notably that her teacher was clearly racist. Diane Abbot is a dangerous awful human being. A smug self serving and dishonest manipulator who uses her limited and in many ways false intellect to con her constituents into believing that she will do them some good. She won’t, she is simply in it for herself. Dreadful awful woman. The Labour Party has been hijacked by people like Abbot and has been destroyed. Clement Attlee a great politician and leader of this country must look down and despair.
