Nice! Didn't see many CTs at the show, unfortunately. The departure in haze was something else. I went up as soon as I was out of Delta.

And glad you didn't get a prop strike or tail strike on that "rolled smooth" ground haha. Looks like a decent camping spot with not having a neighbor on one side. Maybe a tad far though 😅

@@MatthewDeisFlew in early last Friday and were row 510 near the warbird gate; great location. 3 nights Motel 6 and 3 nights camping. Mark with Flight Design from Cali was still there when we left yesterday.

Maybe flight design will increase the MTOW of the CTS when mosaic becomes law.

I talked to FD USA while at the show, they did not deny that possibility!

@MatthewDeis they are introducing a four seat version. With no weight restrictions, I expect the design will have to be beefed up to support higher horsepower engines like the 916. We are going to see some significantly different designs and speed come out the new rule. The TL sparker cruises at 170 knots.
