Bonnie makes him a better man then Elena. Bonnie is not afraid to tell him he’s wrong when he is she let him know how she really feels about him, his actions. And Elena she’s always trying to make excuses for him.

This is a more beautiful story than Damon and Elena.

Bonnie had to sacrifice herself so much just to be appreciated. And all Elena has to do was be Elena. There’s a difference. Bonnie deserved so much more and never got as much shine as her counterparts.

Every time I here bonnie say that she loves Enzo and that he'll never leave her I start thinking is she basically saying that if Damon never left her then maybe they would have been together and maybe in love

I feel like that moment in the forest changed it entirely for them.

I always felt like Bonnie and Damon had such a deep unspoken connection that even though the writers tried so hard to keep them apart their chemistry was just too strong. It always felt like Damon and Elena were just forced together and they had no real chemistry and Bonnie and Enzo were too overly affection it was cringey. But Damon and Bonnie just sitting and eating breakfast or bickering had chemistry through the roof. Bonnie made Damon a better person and always spoke her mind with him plus she loved him for who he was unlike Elena who continuously kept trying to change him. Damon gave Bonnie a daily challenge and he gave her the adventures she needed in life, he made her stronger and he gave her the purest type of love she needed. So these two will forever be endgame for me.

Out of any relationship on the show this was the most developed in my opinion and could have been the most epic; in my opinion she was everything for him that uhlena should have been when they got together; uhlena changed her entire character everything that she stood for rarely held him to account for his ways; didn’t challenge him when they were together their dynamic changed as soon as they became an item; but with bonnie and Damon their dynamic changed for the better they still had the cutesy snarky moments that they had before they were friends but their love grew. And their chemistry was off the chain; the writers just teased them and would slap uhlena into their clearly non platonic scenes without need because they were so threatened by their dynamic; I mean Damon always said he was okay with uhlena hating him as long as he keeps her alive and blah blah blah; similar to the scenes with enzo

I think Ian was trying to follow the book , in the Book Damon was in love with Bonnie also in real life he ask the writer for years to put him with Bonnie, but Paul wanted that also. Oh wait so did Klaus, Kol and Kai anyone would have been better than Enzo. Bonnie was a badass witch she needed someone to tame. I would have loved to see her with Klaus or Kol even Kai would have burn the house down.

They were so married in the prison world making breakfast together crossword puzzle and shopping together in the prison world.

The writers Plec and producer/writer Dries, sabotages them for many reasons I won't go into, but when the two actors got to be in scenes together, they played it like two people who fought and eventually fell in love. Remember how they looked at each other, held each other, saved each other, were jealous of others around the other one. Notice how they delivered their lines when doing a scene that looked like a lover's quarrel, but they were forced to keep repeating the words "best friend" because the writers wanted to remind the audience that they won't let them be together. The actors would place the word as an afterthought to say because they played the characters like lovers. The way he and Bonnie had that scene when he left her for his coffin, was a lover's heartbreak scene if you take out the words "best" and "friends". The way she broke down in the sessions circle and spoke to that girl about how he was the most important person she loved but she wasn't enough... He left because he was also conflicted. He loved Bonnie but he was afraid of hurting Elena. So he took the coward's way out and went to avoid the temptation until she was dead and gone. No matter how many fake flashback stories of Delena the writers try to insert later on to make sense of them being together, just one alone scene of Bamon burned up the screen. They were the real deal. Delena was forced down our throats because the writers didn't like having a black Bonnie. Caroline Forbes was supposed to have the importance of Matt, in the books. She got Bonnie's slot, and Bonnie was treated with the importance of Caroline from the books. The Meredith character didn't transfer. Plec has posted and has said some revealing things about her "point of view" on Bonnie and the way she's treated. Yet, smiles for the camera and fakes nice at Kat. Kat was too professionally nice, but I get she had a junket job to do and keep job security. I was so proud of her and Ian for backing her up with ready to leave when she does. They gave their notice that whether there's a Ssn 9 doesn't matter, they're gone. Plec acted shock and claims it came out of nowhere and the studio hadn't even heard word from the execs about if there was going to be more seasons, and the two announce they're leaving. Watch that last clip of the special features when Plec gives her farewell speech. Watch how Kat gives her dagger eyes. Like she thought she was full of shit...especially with the fake crying while talking. These two actors breathed better air into the show. Enzo was amazing to Bonnie, but he was put with her as an afterthought, because the fans put Plec's feet to the fire over Bonnie's bs lovers and lack of quality loves. She was gonna let her just be alone, like she wasn't a bigger character to most plots of the show than Caroline. Caroline's existence in the show revolved around nothing else but who will she go for next. Although, she was a better friend to Bonnie than the other one. Even though Caroline lost Stefan, she still got to marry the man she pined for in Ssn one, and now has his name title and the money that goes with it, plus 2 kids to help raise. Elena got Damon. Damon gave no hug or affection to Bonnie for waking up Elena. It was so strategically set so that their interactions wouldn't outshine that weak Delena moment. The majority of the tvd fans know that ending looked forced...unless you're a hardcore Delena fan. But it was definitely acted in a way to suggest Bamon was the real deal.

I feel like if it wasn't for the writers really wanting Damon and Elena together. Damon and Bonnie could've really had something I would've been happy with them together i'm sure i'm not the only one.

damn season 8 is bringing back the old savage Damon I almost forgot he had his good times.

Love this video that you made. Your vision is a work of art. You captured what a viewer that would love to see Damon and Bonnie end up together feels. That travel from enemies to friends would be nice to soulmates in love. That seems real and natural and not forced together like the other couples on TVD. I wondered if the writers did more with what they had would the cast stay and the show would not be ending and losing viewers and fan base? I never knew why Bonnie was to be loyal to her friend in boundaries on Damon yet Elena went from Stefan to Damon who are brothers which is wrong and gross to me. TVD made everything about Elena even when Nina left and Elena was not around as if to imply that the characters couldn't love and blossom and protect each other without her as the link and I thought the show was called The Vampire Diaries Not The Elena Diaries.

Ok I have a question. Damon gave Bonnie his blood like a million times during the last few seasons. If she had died at any point and woken up in transition do you guys think she would have completed the transition? Why? Or Why not? Also, if she had completed the transition, does that mean the sleep spell on Elena would be broken since Bonnie would be a vampire and technically "dead"? Or would that mean Elena would sleep forever since Bonnie would be a vampire and have eternal "life"?

Still watching this in 2024, I don't get how they weren't more popular as a ship because how many times does he need to get jealous over her dating someone. Even as a best friend, why react that way all the time. He was always up in her business and commenting about them moving in together he always had something to say about her and Enzo was was so obviously hurt, I don't get how they didn't have more fans.

Even though I think the editors we're definitely Bamon and the actors conspired together, the writers worked hard to not make Bamon happen. Even though it is cannon. What a world. Also she is a great actress in TVD.

Watching middle of season 6 again I found this: Bonnie just came back from the prison world and hugged Damon full of joy. Next Szene: Damon wants to get his mother from prison world of 1903, but Kai wants to meet Bonnie for this favor. Damon asks Bonnie, she rejects it angrily, but he says to her too: "You know, our relationship we had at 1994 stays in 1994." LOL 😂

The best thing about TVD was Damon, Bonnie, Caroline, Katherine and Klaus. Hated Jeremy only should’ve been in S1. Love/hate with Stefan but glad he died in the end. Only liked Alaric because he was a badass human. Really did not like Elena, I was have stopped watching had the not put her to sleep. Best scenes were between Damon and Bonnie. Harley was unnecessary. Oh hell everyone else was meant to be for just a few scenes not even a season. BUT I still love TVD it’s my go to rewatch. If I never see Steven R McQueen again I would not be sad. Oh and ugh to Caroline and Alaric. I would only watch another spinoff if it was with Kat Graham.
