I would rather have this imperfect performance rather than an artificial lipped performance ANY day, because the sound of Mariah's voice is still the most beautiful sound I've ever heard.

LOL for one thing she has even said she finds it easier to sing in the higher registers and whistle tones are easier for her, rather than belting.. How about all of you try to belt perfectly after a 24 year career putting your all into it 100% of the time! FOR EVER LOVE MC :)

Everybody says that she has lost her touch.. But to me personally, this is her most enjoyable performance of the song.. Usually she's just lazy but here she looks so energetic and happy!! I love it.. Mariah is still human. Maybe something happened to her vocal chords, but the musicality is there. Even in the low ranges, her choices of notes are very appropriate. She's just tired already...

Mariah Carey has been singing for i don't know how long so it's obvious that her voice is tired! She can still sing, she just sounds different because she sings soooooo much and that can tire your voice! She is in her 40's of course her voice doesn't sound like it did in 1990!!! Plus she has kids and that can put pressure on your vocal chords! So for someone to say Mariah Carey can't sing is illogical!
