She never lost her voice; it just became unreliable and unpredictable. When well-rested and rehearsed Mariah is still capable of greatness.

Yeah because of aging, vocal nodules and a 30+ year career as a singer her voice has become unreliable and unpredictable

Her voice has always been unreliable and unpredictable. It was just less noticeable in her early years of her career, because she was young.
@TheLevantine2 жыл бұрын
@@souljazz3563 that's not true, the only times where she wasn't atop of her singing game when she was sick
@jeromewilson10482 жыл бұрын
@@TheLevantine no, she started her career with a damaged instrument. And her voice was always unreliable, just not to the degree it is now because she had youth and a fresher, albeit damaged voice on her side.

Who saying mariah lost her voice? Even at her worst is still better than most nowadays. Thats the difference between talent and gifted. She is gifted.
@DoniJames10 жыл бұрын
I think there's blessed, gifted, talented and skillful in that order. Mariah is TOP = BLESSSSSSSED. That infamous 6 octave rage full of all the whistles note scales is EXTREMELY rare to come by. Her voice has literally been the only pipes to sing all those whistle notes in almost ever, THAT'S what makes her blessed. SO thankful she never became a drug addict or anything crazy like poor Whitney. Whitney's last album was the bomb but live she struggled so much to pull through :( Not to say Mariah doesn't have her struggle days either but you know what I'm saying.

Tearing it up as always. Off the cuff. This is the difference between today's singers and her... real musicality. Being able to have a life of your own musically, improvised. You have that ability if you are a song writer as well I guess.
@Jpereirao0253 жыл бұрын
who is capable of making this divinity? who? Beyoncé? hahaha please? Celine Dion? please? They are not used to improvising, but rather a manager or a producer to guide them, and they will never have a more powerful voice than Mariah, there is no comparison. The only ones that can improvise but not so divinely is Aretha in peace rest, Patti Labelle or any true celebrity from the 80s 90s, but these are now useless. MARIAH IS MUSIC, HE CAME TO THIS WORLD TO GIVE US TO DIVINITY BETWEEN HEAVEN AND EARTH ... THIS IS MASTERPIECE ... ... deserves an oscar AND THEY ARE GOING TO REGRET THEM WHEN SHE IS NOT IN THIS WORLD, BUT WE HAVE MARIAH FOR A TIME, IT IS AN INSPIRATION FOR ALL THE SINGERS OF THE INDUSTRY, JOVIAL, IT REMAINS DIVINE! WHAT THEY SAY IS WRITTEN IN THE HISTORY WHO IS THE BEST.

I like to see singers go back to low key clubs with only a few people like this. It's nothing compared to the huge venues of performance and flashing lights,those are boring to me I honestly believe boring to them. You can always see a side of the singer that is reminiscent of the early days before fame money lights and pressure. It's beautiful to see. The joy and rawness and fun is always the best glimpses in these small gatherings.
