agreed. every era her tone is different. now she has a more relaxed more youthful tone because her hero preformance at home earlier this year, she sounded much older than this preformance.

@@motivateprofit her tone is always changing because the chest to head voice ratios in her mixed voice changes a lot. like in her debut years, she was very chesty which made hitting high notes harder and more fatiging but also gave her voice a “powerful” sound. during daydream era she was leaning towards a heady mix so she sounded girly and light and was able to have all that ease in belting and then after that point she started being chesty again and lost the ease. she was more chesty in her hero performance from early 2020 and in this performance she had a more balanced mix, which is optimal, letting her have both benefits of being chesty AND heady

Y’all... she’s not going to enter anymore vocal primes. Those days are over! We can’t say that she’s entering a vocal prime every time she sounds well rested. There’s a distinct difference. She sounds stellar and has top tier technique here but her voice is past the “vocal prime days”.

I love that’s she’s embracing her voice in its current form, adapting the songs accordingly rather than lipping the hard parts to try and live up to past expectations. That is endearing as it makes her more authentic. She seems more secure in herself.

I always say Mariah should do this.. She makes great covers why not just cover your own songs.. Yes love it .. Nobody's voice will remain exactly the same through life... It's the same reason we can hear ppl talk and have an idea of their age group. It doesn't stop u from sounding good. I always thought the lipping just discredits her good wk. She has such a huge catalog she doesn't have to sing any part of the songs she doesn't want to... I think there’s something like a face filter on her, OR she has on a foundation that makes her skin look airbrushed. That said, she looks amazing for 50, and has always had such beautiful skin. I love seeing Mariah doing well. 🙏✨💕

I’m so glad Mariah stopped singing Stacatto, you know? Those shorts and separated notes.. “with the strenght to carry O-ON”. I know it was just a choice of hers and she can do wtv she wants and I will love (cause to this day no one sing like her), but I think that was the main reason for haters saying she can’t sing anymore..
