so agree with you. it's a shame that her laber stopped so brutally the promotion of that album. therefore I think it was a complete mess the singles choices. migrate would have rock as a possible 2nd single, this one was right for summer 2008 (if only she promoted it more often....). bye bye for the 4th single! anyway I love this era.... the MOAIA era was more boring

This is one of my favorite videos from her catalog. 2008 was a happy year for Mariah. A #1 album, a #1 song which became her 18th #1 song, getting married to Nick Cannon (to whom she was happy with for the time being). She was just glowing and smiling through the whole video!

I truly don't get why people think Mariah is fat now. She's not as small as here, but hello, people gain weight with age. I think she looks great now and this song gives me those "feel good" goosebumps. Such a happy song

If Mariah re-released this song with a slightly modified/modern beat and re sung some parts of the vocal AND replaced T.I with a popular current mainstream hip hop artist from this era I feel this song would then be successful again in this (tik tok) dance era and even reach top 10 on billboard. In my opinion.

+Ellie Amissah Adele has a lot more hype considering the big break she took from her last album. The problem with Elusive Chanteuse is that it had a secret release (bad idea), her arm injury of course Whig hindered what she could do and the record label as usual didn't do enough promotion.
