Mariah's the best judge ever. She's actually a coach/mentor/advisor... not just a critique. She helps build talents and hone their respective vocal crafts.

It's obvious the contestants respect Mariah and listen to her advices even though it's long. She's really trying to guide the contestants get better at their musicality beyond the show to get a real career going but ofcourse the public and the media just wants to see drama instead of actual guidance.

I really wish Mariah had a better experience on idol so she’d consider doing a different competition show. She’s really good at critiquing without being harsh about it. She really seems to care about them both as artists and people. I think giving her a chair on The Voice would be really good for her and for the contestants on the show

I honestly think Nicki was just amused by Mariah trying to choose her words wisely without being misconstrued or being too harsh. That's why she's laughing because I kinda laugh too like girl... Mimi just say it! Lol its like when a mom is trying to tell their kids they're bad at what they wanna do in life (music, dance, art, acting) but you dont wanna break your childs heart haha.

Passing through your videos I enjoy Mariah's words cause it's may be long but it's on point, it's right and real. I love it. And Nicki is so BITTER all the time! like gosh!

Thats whats so great about mariah! She doesnt want to tear others down and doesnt want to be rude about it. Whoever said shes too nice as a judge, i think shes a perfect example. I think the other judges can sometimes be too harsh
