Do you people honestly think she would risk singing that climax live? Hell no. Christmas she sung completely live, and sounded good with no help at all, and the whole world bullied her, when she needed them the most. She was having weight issues, vocal issues, and a divorce.. And everyone just bullied her.

She's giving the best vocals in a LONG TIME and people still wanna have this lip vs live conversation . She's not gonna perform every night with 100% live vocal knowing that her nodules can act out . The world BASHED her for that Christmas performance and she won't let herself be embarrassed again because of another bad voice day .

Thank you these awfully uneducated people need to do their research of what nodes can do to your voice. At least she's willing to let the show go on and sing most songs live. And plus we all know she can hit those notes👍🏽

+Patricio Cabrera well it's your opinion and u do have every right to state it. I also enjoy her older tone but this tone is defiantly showing improvement compared to the performances form previous years. I really enjoy her tone now tho and I'm happy for her seems like everything's coming back together.

Probably her best live from Vegas residency. I saw her on Sweet Sweet Fantasy tour and she was amazing but right now she is at her prime. It is time for national tv performances.

Mariah is years ahead of her prime. Her prime was 20 years ago. Now, she lips alot and is focusing on solidifying herself to be remembered forever.

I literally do not care if she's lipsyncing parts of her songs. I know she could do it live if she wanted to. Think about if it were you. You've been slaying all these years, and you already have left such a legacy. Your voice still functions very well, but it does require more work to sing live and make sure that everything goes well and your voice is delicate and needs to be protected, so why would you sing live if you can lipsync from time to time and not tire your voice out to the point where you actually can't sing live? It's an acceptable decision for me because I still feel like she can still slay all these parts that she lip syncs. Plus, we still get amazing 100% live vocals from her too, so...
