In this debut episode of Real Talk, Mariah reflects on her start in the fashion industry when she became the first hijab-wearing Muslim model to feature in an H&M campaign in 2015. She also opens up about the challenges she faced as a hijabi model in the industry.

This is not traditional modesty. This is modern modesty, which is not sourced from Islamic teachings only. Displaying modesty as fashion is not modest.
