What was considered normal back then is considered thin today. And people who are considered as normal today would have been considered fat back then. Whitney did do drugs before Bobby, well at least according to some which you should take with reservations. But she wasn't a heavy user until her marriage to him. They were bad for one another. Bobby admitted to being an enabler and teasing her about being a church girl as well.
