Amen - makes me lose trust for all Democrats. Citizens United was placed into effect by the Supreme Court since 2010. That was the day that all options in politics shifted from voters choice to being the choice of the rich ONLY. The Media got paid little before Citizens United and covered the Government little. Then the Supreme Court allows anyone with a corporation and billions the ability to decide who gets elected out of two choices to push to the public via overpaid advertising with mass amounts of corruption in both parties via every established Journalism working a major news organization. What we have in America is a take over of our hearts and minds via controlled selections of government positions by the top 1% with manipulated messaging. Everyone hired after 2010 (Citizens United) was voted under the terms of corruption and this extends to any seats they filled during their term. Trump was an illegitimate President and should be in Prison. Supreme Court should be tried for treason for dismantling faith in our constitution due to illegitimate, domestic partisan and possibly foreign threats.

But if you want my opinion, I think Marianne is a better orator & has a better vision for the country, while Kamala is the overwhelmingly likely replacement & has more conventional Democratic views. Both of them are clearly more qualified to be President than Biden.

@@ABC_Guest Agreed. You said nothing about Kamala. But if Biden weren't able to complete a 4-year term, as FDR wasn't, who would take his place? Kamala. Who would you rather have in office--someone with 4 years of experience at the president's side, or Marianne? Don't get me wrong--I've read Marianne's books, listened to many of her podcasts on spirituality, etc. She's cool. But the American public just isn't ready for someone like her to hold the office of the presidency. And I predict Putin, Xi, the Ayatollah and Kim would eat her lunch. Or convert her to a more conventional Democrat, if not worse. She's a woman before her time when it comes to politics.

@@mmca2622 I find it hard to imagine Biden's replacement being anyone but Kamala, but if I had a choice, sure I'd take Marianne. TBH, I have zero interest in her books or spirituality - but her vision & clarity of voice are compelling, and I take that over "experience" any day (Mitch McConnell has "experience"). I see no reason she'd fare any worse against the world dictators than Kamala. The country isn't "ready" until the opportunity presents itself, like Obama in 2008.

And honest speaking, it was a horrible idea for anyone in the Democratic Party to have President Joe Biden keep running for a presidential campaign in his bid for a 2nd term as president. And the only way that President Joe Biden must do is this: he has to end his presidential run for a 2nd presidential term as president, and he must stand down and must step aside, for the sake of his health and the sake of his honor and dignity. It is the only way.

She's grown exponentially in her campaigning presence since 2020. It's deeply impressive. She was ALWAYS been learned, an activist (raised in a civil rights household by a civil rights attorney), history lover, articulate, humane, but she needed 2020 to get her sea legs. And boy oh boy does she have them now! The main thing I've noticed is that her talking points are consistent and super crisp. She remains passionate in 2024 as she was in 2020. But four years ago, she let the heat get to her and sometimes got overly excited in interviews. That's when the mainstream media started the "crystal lady" and "anti-vaxxer" smear. She's READY NOW! She clearly practices what she teaches in her books - self-care, personal growth, DAILY grounding.

THAT. IS. 100 PERCENT. That's why 18 months into her campaign, this is the FIRST time you are seeing her on a mainstream channel. This is, however, what Democracy looks like. I'm old enough to remember when incumbents were primaried - they were not a "shoe-in." Democracy is messy and requires grappling, with issues and listening to multiple voices, not corporate spreadsheet control.

Please visit her Website and sign up for her emails and videos. She, along with other candidates such as Dean Phillips and RFK, Jr, before he went Independent, were SYSTEMATICALLY shut off from mainstream news. She was blocked on primary ballots in many states, including where I live (Florida). This was a coordinated campaign to "shoe-in" Biden. I'm glad you noticed her absence on ABC and others. She's been literally in every state in this country for the past year and a half (lower 48, not Hawaii and Alaska). Even if Biden wasn't in cognitive decline, even if he was a robust 60 year old, these type of CANDIDATE SUPPRESSION is just as undemocratic as the garbage the other party has pulled.

I don't have a personal grudge but I do have some issues with her professional record from Cali. I told folks who just "knew" that Hilary Clinton was going to win, that, "not gonna happen. People don't like her." Marianne is whip smart but also likeable.

When it comes to Biden's economy: You show me someone who is benefiting from Bidenomics, and I’ll show you someone who is financially independent; who is paying cash for his/her sustenance, and who is investing in high-yielding, fix-income securities and obligations. On the other hand, show me someone who is suffering from Bidenomics, and I’ll show you a hardworking, middle-class American who is surviving from paycheck to paycheck.

They been doing a "weekend at bernies" for some time. My buddy went to a Vietnam vet thing at the White House and Biden just walked off the stage randomly. Everybody was stuck looking around like "That's it? What just happened?" But it wasn't really covered, I only know about it because he was there. Weekend at Bernies is good for a weekend, but when you are trying to have him do debates, negotiate internationally, give speeches... people are bound to see the problems pretty quickly. No one has had an old dad or granddad? I mean I am pretty familiar with aging. Sadly we're all held hostage by Biden's inner circle that isn't going to take his keys away and legally he has the right to run the party and possibly the country into a telephone pole. Lol my dad ran into a light pole in a parking lot in his old age and we were just thanking our stars he didn't hurt someone. I can't imagine him running the country. He died 2 years after that minor accident. RIP Dad.

The most important take from this interview was 7:45 desperate people will choose false hope over no hope. Just remember this when dealing with Trump supporting friends and family. Marianne Williamson is right about this. 9:39 Imagine how great that convention would be on TV. When has any type of convention been Must-see TV? Stream numbers would blow up bandwidths. Political and news sites would cover this to death. Great advertising opportunity.

This is a great call-out. Marianne gets it. She understands the motivations of the voters who will decide the election. Imagine if the Democrats a charismatic and intelligent candidate like Marianne, they would actually energise people to come out and vote.

AND, when she's on the road, campaigning - NO PROMPTER. Not that prompter is inherently a bad thing but it's been weaponized in the political world. She can speak without prompter because she actually believes what she is saying. And she is a clear thinker. I love watching her speak. It energizes me. And I know she can turn on this country now that the season of suppression seems to be abating.
