You're aan after my own heart with the 9-3 offsuit hand. Years ago I was at a cash game and I folded 93 offshoot and the flop came up 333. Since then I have always made it a point to play 93 off suit with some degree of success. Thank you for proving the point I've told people about 9-3 offsuit

Missed him at HCL last night as i'm in Colorado and hadta go home .... Rampage was sposta be there the night i showed up be he didnt show ... I Find the nights i get big hands as expected i break even lose or win a little .... The nights my trash hands win, i win big .... wth do i know student of the game

About a year ago i was plsying the $2/$4 cash game at venetian. It was a new game and two of the players played at morongo. After about an hour, after yet another massive river bet i could not call i said "i think i just got monrongo'd again". The morongo boys were wildly aggro 😂

I like your A3 fold. Virtually nobody continues barreling into two players, on a draw, when the board pairs (specially when it is an ACE that paired!) Consequently, I'd say that I'm 95% certain that, AT BEST, you were chopping with a weak suited ace (in spades.) EDIT: But, most likely, you were beat by AQ/AJ/A10.

I would Agree with you but he also punted unnecessarily in the last hands so I would have called with the trip Aces here and NOT the other hands.

I feel you. At the end of the day, it was only a 2/3's pot-sized river bet, and you have trip aces. Calling is probably MORE Standard than folding. It's just in my experience, board pairs always, ALWAYS, shut-down bluffs in multiway pots. @@alking6633

If my math is right, you were down about $6500 going into that last hand. Nice catch my friend. The guy with the flush couldn't get away from you quick enough. Easy fold for him cause he couldn't beat a boat or a higher flush.

Mariano makes great plays all the time, but, let's give his opponent some CREDIT!! That raise by your opponent with K10 was, truly, a masterful "old school" poker play! BRAVO!!! 1.) That min-raise forced Mariano to relinquish control of the betting, and subsequently this prevents Mariano from winning the pot on SHEER aggression. K10 was able to do this because, on that run-out, with the previous action, Mariano is going to be capped at an over-pair (at a VERY high frequency.) 2.) If Mariano HAD the over-pair, yes, he is obviously going to CALL the turn min-raise. But, Mariano is going to CHECK the river at nearly 100% frequency, and this allows K10 to get to SHOWDOWN naming his OWN PRICE. 3.) HOWEVER, if Mariano calls the turn-raise, and K10 now believes he is BEAT, he now has the potential to MERGE his "value hand" or his "showdown hand," into a BLUFF. One last thing: The min-raise only worked so beautifully because it's virtually impossible to identify 5,000$ as a true "min raise." Regardless of bet-sizing, 5k is 5k. it FEELS STRONG. Don't try doing this at a 1/2$ game lol...
