I started smoking at the age of 16, got addicted to cigarettes. Spent my whole life fighting Cigarettes addiction. Also suffered severe depression and mental disorder. Not until my wife recommended me to psilocybin mushrooms treatment. Psilocybin treatment saved my life honestly. 8 years totally clean. Never thought I would be saying this about mushrooms.

I was horrifically depressed since childhood. It was relentless. I assumed it would ultimately end me somehow. About twelve years ago I randomly accepted the offer from a friend of a few doses of mushrooms. I did them two consecutive nights alone. First night was pretty mild. The second night? Wow. I saw my depression from every angle, realized much. Next day: depression totally gone. Never came back, never coming back. It's like it's a forest far away I can remember, and could probably find again with enough effort, but it has zero impact on anything in my life or mind. They honestly saved my life and improved it immensely. I never did them again, either. I wish there was a good, organized way to administer them to people who would benefit from them.

Stopped smoking yesterday. Aside from staying up til 4am, no difference. Literally, it’s all a state of mind. Smoked 5-10 Joints a day for the last 6 years ! And only the gas of the gas!! So yeah, make up your mind. Have something bigger than yourself. I quit because I refuse to be a father and husband who burns all day. And I have too much of an addictive personality to be moderate. It’s either all in or all out and I’m all out! Choice is yours!

I wish I had stopped much sooner. I have 3 daughters and a son. My youngest daughter never smoked. My oldest and middle daughters smoke like chimneys. My son stopped smoking after going to a rehab facility. He was smoking and drinking. He was having anxiety attacks. I’m not sure how much the drugs and alcohol had to do with it, but; I’m sure it didn’t help. They all knew I smoked and saw me drinking when they were growing up. My daughters are all in their 30’s. My son is 24. So, I’m glad you quit for your kid’s sake. Stay Strong! 🙏🏽👊🏽

I smoked weed for about 40 years. It got to a point that I grew tired of being a weed head. I didn’t just quit cold turkey. I set a date and quit within days of my target. I found it difficult at first, but; I haven’t relapsed. I honestly can’t say that I miss it. People that know me were surprised when they found out that I quit.

I’m in the process of quitting. Had a crazy health scare while smoking, so it’s been difficult but I know I do want to quit. Any tips? Any will help. Thanks!
@pisces363
@pisces363 10 ай бұрын
@@lilredsensei20 My advice would be to change your routines, avoid triggers and certain contacts. For me, I had routines. I would wake up and immediately smoke a blunt. Then, I’d smoke around the same times throughout the day. Make sure you do something, anything other than smoke at the times you’d normally smoke. By triggers; I mean things like types of TV shows, being in a specific location, drinking or eating some foods. Maybe the most difficult is avoiding the people you smoke with or get your weed from. They will tempt you to smoke because that’s the relationship you have with them. I’m at the point where nothing tempts or triggers me anymore. I simply don’t have the desire to smoke at this point. You’ll eventually get where I am. Think about your health scare as motivation to quit. The benefits of quitting outweigh the consequences of continuing to smoke. Things that are hanging over your head disappear when you quit. I never have to worry about the money I would be spending on weed. I don’t have any of the paranoid thoughts that I had while I was high. The main thing is to focus on your goal of quitting and take it one day at a time. Eventually, you won’t even miss it. You’ll get a sense of pride for quitting. You’ll be able to inspire others to quit, too. Good Luck on your journey! Keep me posted on your progress! 🙏🏽✌🏽👊🏽

You do you, man. I don't smoke but I let people disrespect me thinking it is humility, and now that pent-up anger towards those people is bogging my mind. I wake up in morning with anger and regret. I’m at a standstill, idk what to do, I’ve been trying to slow down, to eventually stop but it’s rough my youth. All I know, that by learning exactly how my body has and is being affected by smoking I will voluntarily call it quits with no outside intervention and as far as my anger issues…. Well it’s still there I have rage pent up but I know when and where to let it loose, not just randomly on people because they set off one of my pet peeves lol. My skin has always been fantastic and still is but my body feels terrible from lack of food and proper hydration and a few other issues so no, thats not exactly true. Some people just simply have nice skin. To live long hydration is most important and eating mostly things that your break down well so your body can easily absorb what it needs, send it where it needs and simply discards whats not needed. Proper rest and some exercise. You're fine smoke it up, you'll live long, I believe it is poison for you if you believe it is. Does that mean you can drink gasoline because you think its not, no. Any good thing in excess always turns to bad. Moderation with everything is key.

@@wakawaka2611 Great point . At the same time the skin being the largest organ can also be a great indicator of how ones is taking care of their body. Indeed, one can have several maladies. But seem people that take care of their bodies at least to some extent tend to have a certain glow. It would take a while for your skin to start showing signs from lack of food and proper hydration because in general you are most likely living a more healthy lifestyle to say the least.

It's not about hydration at all. It's about the depletion of minerals and the chemical change that occurs when something is burned and turned into carbon. It's best to ingest it and only then if prepared correctly with low temperatures. Otherwise it kills off the beneficial elements to your indocannabinoid system and depletes your body of magnesium, vitamin C and zinc which are essential for proper immune function. They're trying to keep people sick and addicted to their poisons they prescribe.

I smoked weed for 22 years I wanted to give it up for the past couple of years but found it very hard I stopped longest for 9 days I always got the munchies and would end up in a loop of over eating staying up late watching shit eating crap not looking after myself and this year my soul/spirit was like ok you wana see how dark this attachment can get, I fully went in and down into the depths of this negative loop for a good 3 months and then I a woman I know was doing a cleanse an I just knew this would be it to start this course and stop smoking and I did i last smoked on the 3rd of may and I’ve never felt more like Myself, and more grounded, new beautiful opportunities have come into my life since.. I needed to let that go for new paths to open. What I have brought is some mixed herbs and flowers so if I do feel like smoking something which isn’t everyday anymore that’s what I have. I’ve come through years of addiction with other substances to so if u do want to give something up it’s possible it may take a bit longer than you think it should or want to but if u truly want change your make it happen, sometimes we have to fall to rise.. Blessing and love to you ❤

About 40 years ago, I visited a hypnotherapist to end a 25+ year addiction to cigarettes. After one session I had no interest in smoking. On my 2nd visit, the therapist handed me a subliminal tape which she told me would not only improve my windsurfing but also give me a little 'extra'. The 'extra' was an ability not to experience the normal 'withdrawals' of addiction thus freeing me from the fear of addiction. During the first months I surrendered a habit every Sunday, sugar, milk, coffee, tea etc. and relished the withdrawals. It got to the stage that I was spending all week wondering what to 'give up' next . . . . I became addicted to giving up addictions!!! Two years later, I passed a coffee bar, smelt the espresso and sampled it with a spoon of unrefined sugar. The feeling of freedom of choice was amazing even tho' my step became a little unsteady.

I’m 37 been smoking for 20 years and I’m finally realizing that smoking everyday is not helping me at all….as a father, husband, and business owner it is detrimental. I have a doobie every night now but I would like to just be able to enjoy it socially from time to time. Moderation is the key to life right!? Good luck brothers and sisters ❤

Avery Shoffner Well, that’s evident by the his eye hollows and nasolabial folds; those two things are dead giveaways when it comes to smokers, as smoke kills collagen and elastin, the very things that keep those areas plump. Even though he’s older and eye hollows and nasolabial folds occur with age, unless you’ve been smoking a lot (or are a longtime smoker), the “dents” that appear in those areas are not supposed to be as deep. In regard to aging, those with higher amounts of melanin in their skin usually have a higher resistance to the breakdown of collagen & elastin, which keeps the eye hollows & nasolabial folds full. Just observe a smoker’s face (or google it) and you’ll see exactly what I’m talking about.

shavoy london I agree . Nobody said its bad. when we smoke it , it’s no longer safe and loses a lot of its health benefits .Many herbalist have said it that if you want to remove pain you can juice it, and you actually get 100%of it’s health benefits .One thing I have realized that some people do and don’t want to accept is . When you really don’t have chronic pain, acute pain (like you have pain every day not the pain you had years ago when you first used weed), have seizures or any other SERIOUS Diagnosed abnormality you really shouldn’t be smoking marijuana . I only say that because most people smoke and use the excuse .. it makes me creative, it relaxes me, I can’t eat without it etc ..all are reasons why you shouldn’t smoke it because you now use that as your master to calm you . And when you don’t have it you cannot be normal/relax/be at peace . You can’t relax unless you smoke, you can’t have a good appetite , you can’t relieve stress etc . Instead of many to deal with inner soul issues and learn to get close to the most high and let him deliver you from your fears, pain, abuse etc we run to marajuana cuz it helps us forget the issue at hand and you never mature and learn how to have proper coping mechanisms like jogging ,playing music you like that calms you , praying , rapping whatever but instead you run to that drug and when you don’t have it now your like a crack head driving miles just for a tree spot to get bud to smoke to make you feel safe . Marijuana’s not bad but it’s bad when you are dependent and if someone told you to go cold turkey from all forms of weed for a year you start Panicking that means your an=ADDICT
