The chorus for those who wanna know Here’s all the filth you ever could see No man has got to be mean You listen to this as I plant the seed If you live with apes, man, it’s hard to be clean Interesting alternative. I like it.

Ya know, after listening to some of the Antichrist superstar demos, I realized that if they were done a little differently, they would have sounded like something off of POAF
@dude66582 жыл бұрын
Probably because Daisy Berkowitz played guitar on these demos instead of Zim Zum

Yeah cuz get your gunn and 1996 sounds aggressive in a similar way

just like another comment said, it's because Daisy is the guitarist in these demos

With a little help from Trent Reznor and Sean Beavan, these rough but brilliant ideas were sculptedinto the amazing renditions that we're all too familiar with.

@YuutubeLosesAgainlol yeah, that makes sense. Anti christ was very good, but in all honesty, i would have liked to see something similar to portrait, just because they had so many good pre-portrait demos that they could have used. I mean you saw what they did with strange same dogma, just imagine what they could have done with songs like thrift
@YuutubeLosesAgainlol12 жыл бұрын
how could Manson not understand the concept of an album he ultimately was responsible for making? are you really going to tell me that Antichrist Superstar was all Berkowitz? you must be fucking with me. he posted an early demo of the title track Antichrist Superstar recently, it was more distorted wah-wah PoaAF bullshit rather than the hard industrial sound Manson and Reznor sought.

Richard Urbans during the sessions, Daisy left leaving a good chunk of his guitar parts behind. Twiggy had to go back and do the rest before Zim Zum came in.

Ryan Stroup Scott left before they even started recording the official ACSS album. It's all Trent and Twiggy and someone else recording the guitars

@@harleygale935idiotic comment... Atleast more than half the album has more Daisy's ideas in it than Madonna and Twiggy

@@davemustaine8700 You’re the idiot for misreading my comment, not me. yes i heard the ACSS demos and yes i know most of those ideas are his. but im talking about RECORDING, not ideas. scott. he wasnt part of the recording process for the album itself thats what im trying to say you fucking fool

@Icantbeforever because the original guitarist, who was responsible for the early Manson sound, was kicked out of the band. probably because the rest of the band wanted the album to sound different and he just wanted Portrait 2.

Portrait kills everything Manson put out afterward. Berkowitz was the brains behind early Manson and the fact that the band got worse after he left is more than enough proof of that.

Celio19891 oh yeah, so that's why they became famous around the world and made it big in the media after Berkowitz left
@crematedchimera91226 жыл бұрын
Because the Antichrist Superstar era created so much controversy. It's also worth mentioning that Daisy Berkowitz worked on Antichrist Superstar, even though it was just four songs.
