Different ages, I like both, but If I have to choose between both, I pick up Manson. Antichrist Superstar album was amazing when arrived. And John Five who collaborated with Manson (in other albums), is by far a better guitarrist with very high skills.

A huge part of Manson's music is how it is sonically; if you're not producing the same sound, it's just not the same. Henceforth I think Rammstein wins this time, but only due to the guitar used here.

I was hoping for a fun mash-up of pieces of Manson and Rammstein songs. Start out with competing riffs, then find one in each repertoire that mate well and harmonise with them playing with and within each other. That would have been so fucking cool. But then, I really enjoy both bands. :-) You looked like you had a lot of fun "playing" with yourself! :-D Fun vid!

I know that most people are saying Rammstein but too be honest I prefer Marilyn. The heaviness of the riffs really suits his voice so I think that they're perfect.

I would have responded to The Beautiful People with Sonne. Both riffs rely heavily on that open to 6th fret tritone which makes them sound similar yet also allows the riff to really encapsulate the core sound of the band.

What about Richard Kruspe and Paul Landers from Rammstein? Richard Kruspe also writes songs on his own(look for the band Emigrate).

How ironic that the first song you played was The Beautiful People from Manson, a song Rammstein played with Manson on one occasion, in a Manson vs Rammstein video . Great content btw , keep going \m/ !

Surprised at the lack of Wollt Ihr Das Bett In Flammen Sehen here. One of Rammstein's best riffs imo.
