Always love this little orchestra's performances. Seems to me their tempos are unfailingly correct for the music...things are often taken too fast these days in baroque music...at least for my taste. They have so much enthusiasm for the task at hand, and I'm glad that the Bremen band explore the more obscure (but still rewarding) parts of the repertoire. Marin Marais is a fascinating composer, and the chaconne here is delightful!
