I find it absolutely amazing how young people with such intellectual potential and who attend one of the most prestigious universities in the entire world manage to ask some of the most asinine questions, as if they have completely misunderstood what Marine le Pen was actually saying. The students asking the questions do not seem to be the most intelligent people in the world.

I'm a Chinese, but I agree with most of what she's said here. Her evaluation of many of the ideological dogmas of "The West" reveals the truth of what is actually going on, in contrast to that facade, that mirage of them which has been fed to the outside world. These dogmas include globalization, freedom of movement, free market etc. She re-emphasized on national sovereignty and protectionism, which was actually a concept invented in Europe, and adapted by nations around the world with considerable success. Besides, her opinion on the role of a strong state and her warning Islamic fundamentalism and globalization are the new totalitarianism is quite inspiring.

A question to Marine Le Pen or any French supporter of Front National. I am English and live in rural France. I am against all political union in Europe. I own and reside in a very old farmhouse that has been renovated by my husband and I at a cost that would never be reflected in the true value of the property, we have done this because we believe that houses such as ours with a history going back over 200 years should be preserved (sadly many in our area are not). All our income comes from the UK therefore contributing to the local French economy and, as we pay our taxes in France, also contribute to the French national economy. So my question ... are we as British nationals welcome in your country?
