And thats imperial measured average. Roughly about 3200 euros depending on rates (AFTER TAX). A job that is highly sought like Computer Scientist goes over 550.000 and more depending on qualification and experience as well as age, company and speciality. Plus from own experience they tend to value things different.

I agree with @Graestra specifically on the "nothing better to spend their money on" part. Most people in my circle earns close or above triple the highest amount he quoted (550k yen monthly which is barely over 60k USD a year), and none of us "have" $250 for something like this. Mortgage in high COL living is a couple decades marathon with 200k USD yearly salary, that if I had $250 extra I'd just put into mortgage or investments. Of course we can whip out $250 on a whim if we needed it. Hell, I can whip out $25k if I really needed it. But that's not how you build wealth, whipping them out on things not emergency or necessary. Exception exists but not the rule (rich people bad at managing wealth). I'm not saying everyone needs to maximize their wealth, as everyone has different goals. But that's exactly the point, dropping $250 on a vtuber has little to do with wealth, but their (maybe lack of) financial or life goals.
