As a proud US Army veteran I'm very proud of this USMC comrade of mine feeding the homeless. For me, I've chosen to focus on handing out canned sausages and canned sardines instead to the homeless since both of them have a long shelf life and has many of the same health benefits as military canned dry food. While this may seem unusual especially for the homeless person receiving it, the fact is sardines and sausages eaten together provide the nutrients that's vital for good health and good health is your most important asset for survival. I know because I was a Army infantryman for 6 years.
