We took a trip from Garden Grove to Guadalupe, California to check out a stunning little reef known as Drew's Lagoon! The owner of this beautiful 25 gallon tank is 26-year-old Andrew who has been in the aquarium hobby for 7 years now. I have the exact same tank. it's cool to see someone with so much more in it than I have and it doing so well. Clearly I can grow in this space more as well.

That was beautiful. I have a 30 gallon IM reef tank, wish it looked like that! Mine is rectangle instead of square, could never get that much product in a small space.

Very neat little tank, looks like he's doing a lot with a little space which is cool. That said, I tend to stay away from smaller tanks because I feel they restrict you from having a wide variety of fish choices, namely tangs (I'm biting my tongue over what I see in the video)

thanks mike! its true...i am very limited thats for sure. as for the blue tang...its being transferred into a large system in the upcoming months. ive had the tang in there for almost a year now. bought it when it was merely an inch. had plans to remove it @ 2" ...its now 2.5" so its for sure overdue lol!!

Love the tank and spotlight! It's hard to find a good protein skimmer that fits into the lagoon back chamber. This spotlight lists the Cad lights PLS-50 skimmer. I have read reviews that it doesn't actually fit but there may be different versions. Could you help me with finding the right right one for my IM 25 lagoon?

Try the k1 icecap nano skimmer! It fits in 2nd chamber but very tight!

Good catch, yes I informed him upon visiting the tank. Looks like the bad kind too, the Acropora Eating ones based on the looks. He is doing some Bayer treatments and posting his results on social media, check it out. Thanks for watching!

Eh I dunno, AEFW on an LPS corals tentacles? I would almost guess red planeria based a bit on the shape and color (heavy blues would make them greyish in appearance). Easy enough check... pull the coral (or try to siphon some out) into a tiny container, a drop of Flat Worm Exit in there and if they die and start floating you know it's not AEFW.

Nope def flatworms, I had them used flatworm exit 2 times and have never seen them again, Looked exactly like those and they were on my hammers / frogspawns / duncans
