its fucking awesome to sit down and listen to a Marine tell his war stories. I went to far one time and I saw his eyes water up and I stopped asking him about this particular story. He was in ww2 fighting in the pacific, Iowa jima, and a couple other places. I've tried to track down one if his buddies he hadn't seen since 48 but I've gotten no where with it. Crazy stuf.. nice comment :)

i feel you brother, i was enlisted as well, i finished my degree after my 4 years at Camp Lejuene and a tour in Iraq in 2003. The officers were not the only college educated. I chose amphibious assualt because it sounded challenging at the time, thats AAV's for non military persons reading this statement. I dont like argueing with them fools but i do enjoy scolding people who think they know anything about the military and dont have the respect or intestinal fortitude to do it themselves :)

Them zips and pings at 0:13 are the reason why these guys are running for their lives for cover On the radio at 1:30 they had a mechanized platoon in their face during desert storm and so needed them 3 A10s giving support, 1 got shot down and the guys on the ground the A10s coverd found the pilot safe If you do join plz remember some times your face is in the mud and your screaming for them A10s, keep a cool head, keep it down and bring it home there is only one god and thats death

It wasnt the US army that fucked in Afghan. It was the British in S. Helmand. For the most part our army was holding its ground under alot of pressure, compared to what the Europeans did.
