31st MEU: Patrolling The Pacific

Ай бұрын#Marines with the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit commemorate two years overseas while embarked on ships from U.S. Navy Amphibious Squadron 11, across the Indo-Pacific region, during the command of Col. Matthew Danner, the commanding officer of the 31st MEU, between June 2, 2022 - May 20, 2024.
The 31st MEU, the Marine Corps’ only continuously forward-deployed MEU, provides a flexible and lethal force ready to perform a wide range of military operations as the premiere crisis response force in the Indo-Pacific region.

I was Kilo 3/5 with the 31st MEU. We went to Guam for the 50th commeration of the liberation of Guam and did a sunset parade for the Marines who fought on that island. After the parade we drank beers with World War 2 Marines. One of the greatest honors I ever experienced.

My first and only unit, it was a pleasure serving alongside a great team, Green and Blue side. 5 Years assigned with the 31st MEU. You will never get a better Team like them. Stay Lethal!

1:16 KAMANDAG(Venom)! Go Philippines! Our warriors are battle-hardened, but still lack military hardware and new tech, these operations really helps with exposure and familiarity to such equipment.
