I have not watched miraculous in a long time and ADRIEN IS A SENTIMONSTER?!?! WHAT...WHAT HAVE I MISSED??

Something I really excited in season 5 is that Marinette is becoming more like Ladybug ever since Adrienette started dating and I can’t wait to see what they do with her in season 6.

I really hope Adrien learns the truth about his father and about what he is. Ik Ladybug/Marinette didn’t tell him bc she’s trying to protect him, but he deserves to know the truth. Him thinking his father is a hero is just so wrong and disgusting considering everything he did. It’s also really gross how there’s a statue of the man who terrorized Paris for a whole year (or is it almost a year?). The ppl of Paris deserve to know the truth as well. But if that doesn’t happen, I guess I’d be okay with it as long as Adrien knows the truth. Also what did Wise Kidd mean when he said that Gabriel made Marinette lie to Adrien? Was that part of his wish? Adrien also needs to know he’s a senti so that he knows to always protect his ring, as he could die if something happened to it. Also for ppl who r upset about Cat Noir not being in the battle against Monarch, I totally get how u feel. It would’ve been so satisfying to see him finally confront his father knowing who he truly is. But u have to consider the episodes Cat Blanc and Ephemeral. Adrien/Cat Noir got akumatized in both these episodes after finding out the truth. Gabriel probably would’ve done the same thing to him if he knew he was actually his son, bc Cat Noir probably would’ve slipped out that he was his son. I mean in the Collector episode he almost called Gabriel father. Also u have to remember Adrien was having uncontrollable nightmares of him as Cat Noir destroying Paris and killing Mari due to his powers, thanks to good old Gabe. 😑 So this would’ve made him even more vulnerable if he was there during the battle. Again, I understand everyone’s frustration with him not being in the final battle. Even I was frustrated at first, until I thought about it some more. Basically what I’m trying to say is it’s for the best Cat Noir wasn’t there for the final battle, bc if he was the outcome would not have been good. Also we did get to see Cat Noir confront his father when he was akumatized into Night Tormentor in Representation, even if he didn’t know he was also Monarch. Also I had another thought about that last episode. When Ladybug saw Gabriel detransform, she left a message for Cat Noir that she was at the Agreste house and that Monarch was Gabriel. Cat Noir never heard the message bc he gave his ring up to Plagg. But the next time Adrien transforms into Cat Noir and uses his stick, he should see the message right? Unless the message was deleted by Ladybug or maybe it was deleted when the world was recreated. 🤔 Actually Ladybug wouldn’t delete the message bc she doesn’t know Cat Noir is Adrien. Maybe she’ll tell the truth about Gabriel to Cat Noir in the next season, and that’s how Adrien will learn the truth. I just hope he finds out somehow. Also I really hope we get the identity reveals next season bc I miss ladynoir. 🥺 I really hope they don’t wait until the very last episode of the series to do the identity reveals, although I could totally see them doing that. 😒😩

and lila steals the rings and destroys adrien...and i know mari has kept all these secrets but its because she wants him to stay safe and happy and thats the same for everyone.❤ i love this...❤

The worst part of all of this is that’s LadyBug is going to tell CatNoir about Gabriel being monarch and unless she does it over text Adrian is going to flip tf out right in front of her and that’s going to be the identity reveal for Marinette. And the whole season is going to be about CatNoir distrusting maybe even disliking LadyBug, but CatNoir/Adrian will still be in love with Marinette and she will struggle on when/how to tell Adrian/CatNoir that she’s ladybug. But that’s just a theory.

Stoked for season 6! And hopefully Adrien gets better treatment than what they did in this mediocre finale. To be fair, even though the finale was mediocre, the Adrienette kiss made up for it, and it was definitely one of the moments that made me SO happy!

+5:26 The problem here (putting aside certain moral issues to do with Human Cloning & IVF that I won't get into here) Is that Adrien isn't human.. you can say a Car is a Horse as may times as you like but it is still a horse... You can say Adrien is Human presenting or Human appearing. But the smallest issue and you don't get a "dead body" you get a dissipation of purple smoke and a feather falling out of the sky. If Marinette one day has Children with him and the DNA is "Magical" her kids could die horribly when 50% of their Chromosomes disappear in an instant or they could also just vanish in a puff or purple smoke too. Even is they survive his death.. and the feather isn't released from the amok at the point of his death at any time in the future that ring is destroyed any one who is a progeny of Adrien will either have an immediate horrible cancer like illness causes by a portion of their DNA disappearing they'd also disappear. The best you can hope for is after 7 years they replace enough of their cells with New ones to be stable if he dies. Or if blood was taken from him and he died it would be " self-sustaining" the problem is that sentimonsters are NOT shown that way. So that is a potential issue that him dying can kill his kids and make Marinette into another Wanda Maximov. The other issue is that a Senti-being is created based on a desire or emotion or concept that forever rules their existence. (again one of the reasons so many people think Chloe is a Senti-being) So Adrien will always be driven by the desire to please All Marinette did was give him an order to not please her but to please himself ="to please her" and so he's still following her orders as his mistress. She's still the boss of him in ever sense due to the very nature of his creation. Humans don't come with Caviates like that. That is why when Humans change even a little bit we give them other names like Vampire or Gollum. Adrien isn't really any more human than Uncanny Valley is..,,, They have a lot in common actually they both have baked in limitations as a side effect of how they were created. ( that reminds me I wonder if her scan of Adrien reads as a massive lump of Quantic energy or as a human being ?)

Thank you Wise Kid for seeing the good, rather than joining the choir of hate others like to aim at this episode. A thought occurred to me recently, while Adrien now has his free will - what was the impact of Gabriel giving it up willingly, and thinking fondly on the time he tried to be a good father. As the original holder, wouldn't how he left the ring determine how it could be received? My theory for the upcoming special is that LB will renounce her Guardianship to save the day. Similar to Master Fu. Subsequently, losing her memory. Wouldn't it be ironic if the whole team of heroes were there to see her renounce and de-transform - only to realise it's Marinette. Only for Marinette to forget she was Ladybug? Everyone will know all this time it was her, knowing she cannot receive their admiration. This is how the writers can avoid LB keeping secrets, keep the tention of a character reveal and put a dent in any plans Lila had to out LB's secret, regarding Adrien's father. It will defeat the point if revealing it, if Marinette cannot respond to Lila's blackmail.

Well, I'm actually against him as a senti. I don't hate him. I HATE the idea of him being senti because that would mean a couple of things: he'd and others would outlive everyone else and watch them age....and d!e, does he even have the capability (and the other senti) to reproduce (if they all became an adult and started their own families)? Those are just few of the reasons I hate that theory and idea. Not because of Adrien as a person. I still love Adrien but I just feel bad for him because he's partly human and partly senti (can't believe it's canon but poor writing, yay!). If he and the rest of them (Felix and Kagami) weren't conceived in a womb, I don't think they'll be really called senti. So somehow, I still believe, they're partly human themselves because they still came from a womb...unlike the other sentibeings which came from emotion and an object. I'd probably hate the fact even more if the 3 of them would disappear on command. That would hurt me and the fandom.

I’ve said it in other comment sections but the only way Marinette could slip up is by telling Chat Noir as Ladybug the truth. Why would Adrien be mad at Marinette about it unless: this is just a theory, a film theory. But what if that is the reveal? Adrien finds out through ladybug about his dad and cannot keep it to himself and tells Marinette he is chat noir and she tells him she’s ladybug? That would be such an epic and interesting way for the real reveal to happen

Marinette herself told (to "Lila"), that sugarcoating something is still lying. And still, she does try to lie to Adrien about the fact his father was Monarch, obliterated by the common good or at least her own good (and love interest). If Lila is out there, if she can join dots in space and time, that is not going to last IMO.

Ig alot of you don't know that the creators have said that their gonna be ending the series on the end of the 8th season but if the show keep getting success like it is getting rn they will make expand it up to season 12 like eholy shut 😅

I returned to the show, only to find out that even its own fanbase despises it. What have I missed??

The staff on Twitter said that it is Amelie (it is more or less Amelie's colours) that said the control art is labelled Emelie, it was supposedly Emelie in the pre-release edit script before they changed it) and Thomas also said there is some sort of 'trick' or misdirection in the final scene where something isn't what it appears to be... yeah that could be a long list.. (maybe Nathlie is a Sentimonster replacement for all we know for example) Or maybe Gabe isn't dead and just faked his death. I don't really trust Felix or his Mother motives (as she was lying to Ladybug and covering for Felix). I expect that much of what we will get bombarded with early Season 6 is Iris Verdi stuff. Though I am kinda curious if Lila will still be using her Cerise Persona or if she's retired it... I think she has to manage her moms so may even have to use Lila sometimes or they'd think their kids had gone missing and be putting out missing person reports for the same girl in a wig !. Fortunately everyone in Paris has face blindness I guess. As for the Adrienette stuff, I didn't talk about it as I expect them to almost immediately break up so didn't see it as any kind of resolution more like a pause where they get to be a couple for a couple of Months before Ladybug's lies bite her on the backside and her world falls to pieces around her because of her dishonesty. The production claim that Adrien never finds out Gabe was Hawkmoth (neither does Paris) and I call BS on that as Alya knows.. she will eventually tell Nino and Nino can't keep a secret to save his life, and well it is likely Iris or Cerise is going to Out Ladybug's identity to the public at some point too. Thus all the "excuses" of outing the New York Heroes and Bunnyx to normalise the idea. They will of course complete ignore any danger to Tom and Sabine.. much like any danger to The Mayor or Audrey of Chloe being Queen Been never came up either. I wouldn't be surprised if the heroes being outed over the course of Season 6 is a way to "remove" them from the table. If they were clever they'd even out Ryuko, Pegasus, Rena Rouge, Viperion, & King Monkey first so that Chloe can be initially blamed for doing it as a miss-direction,. But no I didn't feel the need to say anything about Adrienette as I think they are going to break up again by the end of Season 6 (if not sooner) but it would make a good end of season cliff hanger or an excuse to do Cat Blanc. Unfortunately I don't think they will ever allow Adrien to grow a spine.. which is a shame.

Marinette Dupain-Cheng's action in season 5 ; a metaphorical equivalence of her cutting someone's car brake cables so the fluid slowly leaks out just as they start to drive on a trip over the mountains and then being all shocked that they went off a cliff and died.. it's not like she intended for them to die... Gravity did it. Gravity is evil ! That is what Marinette is like, she repeatedly does self-centred things that result in harm to others and then acts all shocked Picachu about it. She's got the kinda personality of someone who'd as an adult drink an entire bottle of wine get 3 hours sleep and then drive the kids to school a few hours later still drunk. Marinette has a different kinda of narcissism to Chloe but she still if powered by a huge degree of self-focus in her actions. You can see that again with pretty much every character it is always what does this do for me, and just look how she reacts when Alya talks back to her, she goes nuts !

Here is a rather dark seated thought.. Marinette never had to see Adrien as anything other than a fantasy she created in her own mind from things she saw on TV, in Magazines and the Internet. As Adrien threw himself in her lap and said "love me" like a needy puppy, she never had to accept him as an individual he remains her patsy; Adrien is to Marinette as Sabrina was to Chloe 'a willing Lacky'. Then to double down on the point by him not being a real boy, and being Liable to be effected by her will due to his desire to place that is baked in (especially if she's touching the ring). She also shown that she has form for telling.. no DEMANDING what he does, but not only that expecting him to kow tow to her as Ladybug when he's Cat Noir without actually ever telling him. So she is the kinda person who will act all disappointed that the other disappoints her by virtue of not being a mind reader in the mask or not. Marinette has show again and again with Luka, Kagami, her parent her classmates the other heroes and especially Cat Noir that she is not responsible when it comes to her being given responsibility over others. She is always one moment away from disaster as the show can't help itself with the cognitive dissonance it displays towards her making her "perfect" one second and destined to fail spectacularly the next. I bet if Socqueline was Ladybug instead all these problems would immediately disappear.

Can I just point out that when Marinette is speaking to Adrien BEFORE handing him the ring everything she says to him will be taken by him as a direct command at worst or a strong suggestion at best.. also if she ever speaks to him like that because he see her as his "Mistress" i(n the pet sense of the word) anything she say then will also be taken as a strong suggestion or order too even though he's wearing the amok she is in his sub-conscious mind 'his new mistress' he needs someone to serve and that person is her. it isn't really love it's a side effect of how he's made. it may be his desire to impress those he loves (previously his parents and now Marinette) that makes him uncomfortably suggestible. That may also be why he keeps getting himself killed as Cat Noir too. I guess the show will "ignore" that his ring being destroyed hen he is should break his senti-magic too much as how Felix ignored that too when he snapped and unsnapped Adrien in an out of existence... basically he murdered him and then re-created him (like happened with Senti-Nino too) Not that it matter now since Adrien is a clone of a Clone of a Clone times what a dozen times now. Even Ladybug is a like 5 or more Clone copies of herself in too. Death is so meaningless on this show that is why I am not even sure Gabe is even dead either.

Adrien was created for one reason to fulfil the desires of his parents.. once those parents are not around he won't follow his own desires... no he will just find someone else to latch on too to follow his "programming", that is why so many people thought Chloe was a Senti-Monster as then her behaviour would well "make sense". Also any sympathy for the "humanity" for such a magical construct would be higher with Chloe as she actually has a will of her own and her own desires and isn't just a doormat to other's desires like Adrien, ironically Adrien's "disgust" (which he shouldn't even really feel) towards Chloe is the only time he displays an emotion he sticks with, as otherwise he immediately cucks to other's desires be the desires of his father's or Ladybugs (and Ladybug act just like Gabe in that respect so they are effectively interchangeable). Ladybug isn't good for Adrien he needs someone wholesome like Socqueline or hell even Zoe, not someone who is self-centred and Capricious and quick to judge and slow to change, with some anger issues like Marinette. If Nino had not proven to be so untrustworthy I'd even ship him with Adrien before Marinette to be honest. But unfortunately like Kagami he sabotaged himself. as for Zoenette.. yeah Marinette doesn't deserve Zoe and not that isn't shade on Zoe that is shade of Marinette. To be honest the only person in the show actually able to straighten Marinette out (pardon the pun) is Chloe as she's the only one who doesn't put up with her Crap (Even Alya does to large extent enable her bad behaviour and won't stand up to her when she's wrong - like when Marinette DEMANDED she censor the Ladybug - Alya should have told her to go fu** herself and he even asking dented the trust between them so much so that Alya thinks Marinette just outright lies to her face about Lila out of Jealousy - that isn't a healthy relationship and that is Marinette's fault as she proved to be the untrustworthy one 1st).

Eh, i dont really agree with adrien being a human. I'll always *see* him as one, but he isn't. thomas is just tryna save their butts which isn't working. Adrien *is* a sentimonster created be *like* a human, but he still ain't human. Oh well, it's canon ig since thomas said it, but still.
