I feel like there’s not alot of haunted house levels that take place in the house itself, like most of it is weird abandoned board walks and being outside while occasionally going into the house. Like Luigi’s mansion mostly takes place in a swamp instead of going through a tight dusty house and the new one is just being in a medieval sewer

I dunno about yall but Lunar Colony is 5/5 for music, 5/5 for looks, 5/5 X factor but 1/5 to actually drive. You cannot hit ANYONE in the sections where there are craters. You just fly over everyone's items and can't hit anyone consistently. But man, I love the guitar...

You dog on Sky-High Sundae a lot but I quite like it on a mechanical level. Every stretch of road has a trick ramp at the end so you can keep up a chain of constant mini-turbo boosts, which makes the near complete lack of guard rails more dangerous. The actual difficulty of the track is low but it's a decent adrenaline raiser.

Yeah, I don't see them remaking Mario Kart 8 Deluxe on the Switch 2 or whatever they are calling it. The reason for that is of course capitalism. In short, a new Mario kart will not only sell itself well but also sell consoles. If they just release the same game again, everyone already owns it on Switch so it is unlikely people would buy the game again. Yeah, few people actually owned a Wii-U so remaking it on the Switch was pretty logical but if they want to give us a reason to upgrade our console they will need to make a new game. Ti seems like the Switch 2 on it's way at least, some optimists think it will arrive in late this year but I think it is likelier it will be in the first half of next year. I still think they will call it Mario Kart 9, basically because it won't confuse dumber people who own 8. I am not sure what new selling point they will have for it, we got anti gravity in 8... Maybe the carts will morph into boats or planes or something? No idea.

I had the Wii U version. I have been playing this game for 10 years. I absolutely love this game best Mario kart of all time. Also Mario kart Wii sucks
