Now that this game is available to critique, just wanna put my two cents in. Ignore me if you want. This game is a remake in the purest sense of the word. The primary story Is still here, the combat is still the same, and Bowser... He'll probably still be Bowser. As someone who loved the original, I'm getting this game because I love it. Plus I don't have the original anymore:( So yeah consider me blind or stupid but this is still the second RPG I fell in love with after Sonic Chronicles. Yes seriously. At least this game has aged well. I'd give it a 9/10 from how I see it know. Enough old to make it a nine, but not enough new to put it higher. Which is how a remake should be in my opinion.

Fun fact : Bowser X doesn’t actually heal 9999 of health at 17:26 because I calculated and Prosafia dealt to Bowser a total of 5762 dmg after that (also he goes fury mode after receiving 3056 damage, which means that it takes a total of around 8816 dmg to take him down)

Bowser X now having about 8000 HP? *this will be impossible....*

X Bosses make no sense Durmite X and Wisdurm X: The caterpillar became a butterfly and is now a caterpillar again? Alpha Kretin X: I thought they split apart and died. Bowser Memory M and L X: How did a memory get wherever they are? Junker X: The garbage can never got eaten by Bowser. Why would he eat trash? Dark Star X: I thought that thing turned into Bowser. Bowser X: Do I even need to explain? Mario and Luigi are fighting Bowser IN Bowser. What? WHY?!

For some reason I had nightmares of the old version of this game when I was like 7, but I gave it a second chance and bought the remake and now this game is one of my favourite mario and Luigi games

I bought this game recently, I did play the DS version which I still own. The remake is great overall but I miss some features such as having to blow in the mic to spit fire in giant battles (yeah it was awful at times but it was immersive). However, while the first six bosses of the class 7 gauntlet aren't much different from the original, Bowser X can be oneshot in this game, which is what I just did. Also in the original it took me forever to stay calm during the fire rain attack. Edit: Actually, there is one thing I really dislike: Luigi's new voice.

I know it is "the strategy", but it gives me tock seen Mario and Luigi jumping at the same time with an individual enemy attack

So now besides the normal Gauntlet, we have a Giant one? Nice! Even if they removed the Supernova colouring for the Dark Star, it was cool to see its original Star Sprite shade. It blew my mind when I realized for the first time that it was actually a rogue Star Sprite, and its true colouring is a great foreshadowing to that. Er, "back"-shadowing, I guess. Also, a recolour from the Dark Star Core could've worked as well. But I like the yellow myself. But the Mario Bros. Memories should've totally had the Fire Flower outfits for their rematch. C'mon, that writes itself. Still, the Bowser Gauntlet should've been a thing. Just have it as Bowser remembering his foes but tougher. Speaking of, Mario and Luigi seemed to miss a boss or two... Here's what I think would've been more complete: Giant Gauntlet - Perfect. Give them recolours and the X title, maybe, and that's it. Bowser's Castle X (Secret exit colouring (from the New Super Mario Bros. series) Tower of Yikk X (Boo colouring) Fawful Express X (Dark Fawful colouring) Super Peach's Castle of Fury X (Original Peach's Castle colouring) Bros. Gauntlet - Add Scutlet and the Shroobs (the latter with new moves from other Shroob species). Give Scutlet a Scuttlebug shade, the Shroobs the Shrooboid trio's hues, and give the Mario Bros. Memories their Fire Flower looks, for crying out loud. Chakron unfortunately brings nothing to the table, hence his exclusion. Scutlet X Durmite X Kretin X Wisdurm X Mario Bros. Memories X The Shroobs X Junker X The Dark Star X Bowser X Bowser Gauntlet - It has to actually _exist,_ for one. If it did, here's what the lineup could be (and of course the Bros. would still fight too). Sea Pipe Statue X (Chakron colouring) Broque Monsieur and Broggy X (Give Broque Dark Block colouring (from Dream's Deep in Dream Team) and Broggy Chain Chomp colouring) Wiggler X (Durmite colouring) Midbus X (Blizzard Midbus colouring) Blizzard Midbus X (Either Bowser or Dark Star/Fawful colouring) Dark Fawful X (Cackletta colouring) Dark Bowser X (Since it's the final boss, it could either be the exact same, or have Dark Star X colouring) Secret Boss: Mario and Luigi (Obviously. Ima be honest here, I kinda feel like the boss explosions are a downgrade. You know what I’m talking about, when you defeat a boss they explode stars. I get it, this is such a minor thing to be complaining about, but basically the boss explosions were satisfying to look at once you defeat that boss you were so eager to beat.
