The mindset of club over country is what's held our national side back all these years. Look at all those golden generation players, some refusing to play for england, underperforming and even giving other players the cold shoulder. Just because they couldn't leave their club rivalries back home where they belong! Country over club is a long awaited concept I'd like to see more of!
