Hammil didn't write the scripts or direct the movie. Do you think hammil directly acted luke out poorly? There is only so much influence a single actor has on a movie they are acting in.

@@adam-di7rk And if he already signed a contract before they gave him a script? You are attributing bad faith to another person who actually had no control over the script. Also Mark is quoted saying Luke in the sequels don't feel like Luke.

He wouldn’t know what color lightsaber.. the color is added in post when they add the effects. Only the first movie used lightsabers that had a reflective wand attachment (made of movie screen material) that reflected light shone on it during filming.

@@doomsdayrabbit4398 It was his dad's, and then it was his. But even that's all in the world of fiction, the reality is the opposite. That prop has been Mark's since his first film in 1977. It was made for his character to use, and it was no one else's until twenty years after Mark's trilogy finished. So yeah, Mark knows what it is, and he and anyone else his age would identify it as his own.

@@UltraStarWarsFanatic Luke's. Lightsaber. Is. Green. This fanatical devotion to rebottling the lightning that was the OT instead of giving us a natural progression - is directly what led to butthole eyes sticking Anakin's lightsaber in a box with no explanation.
