the match which was played at hampden finished 3-1 Rangers with Hateley grabbing two before Laudrup finished them off by taking the ball round the keeper and calmly finishing it into the empty net.

It’s Brian “ Laudrup “ But yeah he was one of the greatest players in a Rangers jersey ! … The gr8 Dane was given Coops number and never disappointed ! .. I never had the privilege of seeing Cooper play on the field , but I did watch Laudrup from the stands and he was unplayable at times !

You have to look at it objectively -lubo was 33 when he signed for celtic-and he was up against the most expensively assembled rangers team ever under the little general-Laudrup came to rangers when celtic were on their knees-we were building a new stadium his first 3 seasons-when it was completed he left rangers trophy less rangers never won a champions league group game with him in the team-flat track bully-decent but overrated
