Mark I'm aware you may not see this but this is as close as I'll get to thank you. I as well was called by God with singing & comedy. Lately I've lost my song & my funny because my wife of 50 plus years, my partner in living, has been diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer. I'm still preaching but the funny is gone. Thank you for helping me to smile today. Pray for us Mark. We need the prayers & you need the practice. Psalm 50:15 God is good. Bob

My husband was just diagnosed with stage 3 brain cancer! I know the pain and shock you are feeling. Im here to as it seems my world has been turned upside down. My husband told me... if he would have never gotten this cancer, he would have never gotten saved . So he is grateful for his cancer!! Just remember we will see our spouses again in heaven with our Father!! God is Great!!

Interruption no1 breast cancer 20 yrs later no 2 glioblastoma brain cancer. No doubt God is in control and is keeping me pain free. Hope is my peace now. Faith is my foundation. Thank You Lord for another day of life and Hope!

I feel that u are Spiritual Mark. I was raised by my grandparents & my grandmother was a devout Christian & she would pinch me in church when I was little to wake me up & we were Pentecostal & a lot of dancing in the Holy Spirit, spoke in Tongues so It must takes a lot to keep me interested in a Preacher & I sure wish you had been my Preacher while I was made to go to Church!

I've got plenty scares to sit and talk to you about Mark. The one that is my biggest testimony is on my right wrist. I was about seven years old when I got it. I was tagging along with my big brother and his friend. We were playing a game of chicken and I fell in the ditch that we were walking around. I hit my wrist on a concrete block at the bottom of the ditch. I must have hit the main artery because the blood was shooting out of it. However, when we got to the ER it was closed up and stopped bleeding. I know that I was heeled by God because my brother, his friend and the friends mom prayed for me.

Mark my husband had a very severe aortic dissection followed by being on life support and speaking worse than our lovely Randy Travis who I love! Every day a doctor would try to talk me into a DNR and I said Father son and Holy Spirit have not had their say! On a Friday the sweet doctor said maybe he will speak better with therapy or maybe he will never speak again! I came back on Monday with his mother and he looked right at us and said I’m playing their game they never check out n me! I flew to the head nurse who said your imagining it! I want all doctors in his room stat! He told them clearly in three languages and doctors hung their head and said we got nothing! I said I told Jesus would come! So yeah Mark I’ve seen God!

Is that the one about ‘Amboolances don’t have shocks?’ I know that feeling, in the uk they really DON’T HAVE SHOCKS - unless you’re in cardiac arrest! Then they’re shocking! But give me a decent car any day over an NHS ambulance! But, I always, always have clean undies on! Just in case!

“God is in the interruptions of my life and seldom in my plans”, so true. I love how he coined that we are a bunch of “freaks, frauds, and failures”. I think the richest message of Christianity is that God is the God of the broken-hearted. We don’t have come before His throne with perfection because our perfections are but rags in His presence. Bless His Holy Name that He doesn’t require perfection only obedience. Thank you for posting this. Hearing Mark’s message has gotten me through the last few weeks. So appreciative of Mark’s insight. Beautiful person! I’ve been a fan for close to 25 years.

Mark OnTheBlueRidge .....the “g” may have meant goodness. Is “God”, God’s name? The Bible calls his name Elohim, (the Hebrew name), as well as Yahweh, (the name revealed to Moses). I’m not making any point or argument. This is just my curiosity about God coming out. 😁

And more than that.. now I understand what the meaning of Jesus said about Holy Spirit...His promise sending a Holy Spirit to help us when He raising to heaven.. indeed...Mark Lowry had a most beautiful spiritual talent I' ve ever heard. If it's not obvious to you why he's not married to a woman....which brings me to my next point. Some of us weren't meant to be married, as Yeshua tells us. It's the ideal, but not everyone is meant for it. And trust me, we might have our lonely moments, but some of us have a special connection with God, we know we are married to him and only him, and he fulfills our lives.

I so enjoy Mar's stories and his take on the Bible. He sure takes some liberties. And that's alright since we don't know since the Bible doesn't tell us. But because of the culture of the day, I suspect that since Mary gave birth in a manger, there is a high probability the floor was dirt. I would think she laid down a blanket to be on during the process. It really doesn't matter a great deal. The point is he lived and he was crucified and he was raised from the dead and in Acts he ascended to the right hand of God. WOW!
