I can identify with this so well. I was raised in the independent, fundamental, hard nose, against everything Baptist movement. It is sad to see how self righteous people have become. I have determined to focus my ministry on those that the Pharisees don't want. In doing so my church has doubled in size in the last month Thank you mark for the message.

This is the very best of Mark Lowry. When I started listening to this video it stopped after about 2 minutes, then I read a lot of the comments. After that I played the video again. I got to watch the entire video this time. Mark talks about Gods Grace & Gods Love in a way only a Child Of God could. That's why I said that this is the very best of Mark Lowry. I will leave arguing over religions to the theologian but the Grace & Love of God (like Mark) I understand. Thanks Mark.

Mark Lowry makes more sence than any preacher i ever heard and he does it without screaming at me. i understood what he was saying and have always felt the same way. all we have to do is believe and have faith, what denomination has nothing to do with it. Mark you have my prayers and my respect sir you keep up the good work. i know God reaches more people through you most of these self righous christians and preachers. i'm a follower of Christ and i love Him and all his children.

Soo true! We are busy judging, criticizing, and hating each other instead of obeying the LORD: "Love the LORD with all your heart, mind, strength, and your neighbor as yourself."

I choose to see the message here as one of love. Love we should have for others, regardless of who they are, or what they do. God's love is for everyone, unconditional, everlasting. As humans, we can't love like that. When Jesus came in human form, He showed how we could live with God indwelled in us. The love that God gives us can change lives, which can change the world. God bless Mark Lowry for sharing the message of love, in his own way, with passion, humor, and a caring of others.

This is one of the most simple, yet profoundly beautiful truths of God's word. I have watched it several time and want to package up this word and share it will all my loved one and those I know who are hurting and in need of Jesus.

With the illness that I have , She My Darling wife is still with me and encourages me. God knew what he was doing.And I revel in it.Praise the Lord.

Wow Mark what an amazing word you gave to all who listened. I went from laughter to tears. God is definitely using your life in a powerful way brother. Laughter is good for the heart. A merry heart does good. What I really loved was the unity in your message it doesn't matter what denomination your in as long as you have accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior. Lowry has such a talent for hitting the nail on the head. People think that theology is dry and boring; this guy's speaking great theological truths in the bright, fresh, heart-piercing way that they should be. God's grace is extravagant, excessive, and free. What more could we ask for? And why are we trying to hoard it?

Outstanding, sensitive, loving ministry....only the hard hearted would disagree. But grace is for them too.

Lemonheartfly and Gemidas, even your knee will bow and claim that Jesus Christ is Lord, all we can do is hope and pray that you'll someday see the Light that is Jesus. God gave us the Law so we could see our need for His grace. At first I did think Mark was condoning divorce as sinless, Having listened to him before I should have known better. I've been really down recently and needed a pick me up, so looked up a few christian comedians, I listened to a few, and they are funny, but none make me laugh or speak to my soul like... heard a good one today which is that there is no greater evil than insisting that yours is the ONLY way. i was glad to hear that affirmed for me because that has been the case in every church i have ever been to - and i've been to a few. quit going when i said something about praying and the pastor of that church literally screamed at me that if i was not in church then my prayers were one-sided. he doesn't know me very well - miracles happen to me on a daily basis.

God love ya, Mark. I've been through divorce and felt so much shame. I was married at 30 and saved my virginity for her and she decided after two years that she just didn't want to be married any more. It broke my heart. I appreciate you and I urge you to continue being honest with who you are in God and as a person. Perhaps many will reject you, but I won't and God won't and either His grace is more than enough, or it isn't. I've been in some crappy places but He remained.

This video is a GREAT witnessing tool! Could someone please fix the volume problem? Many people just pass it up because they can't hear it. We need to work like Paul says, like a woman in labor, and get this right so thousands of people can benefit. I have so many projects I just can't stop to do this one. I think God is tapping someone on the shoulder to do this...

I can see it, i can see how this is humor, we (humans) have the ability of make things complex, and i think It was a great way to explain the reason Jesus came to earth, and also to explain a non-believer about God's plan, and not about religion and all the traditions... Awesome!! It's applicable here in Costa Rica too!

I live in Dallas and I am not only a Democrat I am also a Born Again Christian. Many of my friends are not only Christian but also Democrats. We are not as rare as one might think. I love Mark Lowry's stuff, I think his observations are brilliant, I also think the joke about Methodists, Catholics, and Democrats who love God is funny because it shines light on stereotypes. I would encourage Y'all to watch the whole video and then look at the overall message. Never assume or judge someone.

I attended a new age church and the preacher said, You know that voice, that still small voice that say's what you did is wrong. That voice is saying Jesus was not big enough or powerful enough. Ignore that voice it is evil. I couldn't believe it. later they had a sacrament to unity, said Jesus died on the cross to unite humanity. I haven't been back.

Sensibleadult is right. Without our taking the necessary action, we can't obtain salvation. If I was drowning in the ocean and a ship came by, and by their grace, stopped and through me a life preserver, I could believe all day long that it could save me. If I continued to just to just believe that, I would eventually drown. It's not until I actually reach out and take hold of it (take the necessary action) that I am saved. Believing it leads me to do my part for their efforts to be effective.

Mark is hilarious! He is my second favorite comedian of all time, behind Louis C.K.!
