The ELF primer container uses an airless pump. As you use up the product, it moves up toward the top. That woman took a picture of it after she'd run out and freaked out saying it only holds a tiny amount, not understanding how an airless pump works. A lot of cosmetics come in this type of packaging now because it allows you to use all of the product instead of having any stuck to the sides of the bottle. It's really not difficult to work out. She bought it for $6 and it lasted her a month, but she expected it to last a year. After actually measuring the number of pumps you could get out of it, it's clear she was using much more than she claimed and was completely wrong in calling out the company on social media. Even if you don't know what an airless pump is, it's not hard to read the packaging and see how much it contains. Just know your damn measurements, people.

Exactly! Beauty News confirmed that there are 57 pumps in the small bottle, lasting up to 2 months. People believe anything they see, 1 years worth of product for 14 mL is just unreasonable.

What many don't understand is that manufacturers MUST make room for all the required and legal stuff they must put on bottles; wich mean more packaging but the weight listed is the weight you get...if not then contact the your local consumer bureau. However, i an not excusing the gross misleading on food products...It's up to us to tell the companies we will not buy from them again.

3:26 is an vacuumed pump or an airless pump ... when you first buy it the product is full and the base is at the bottom but as you keep using it the base goes up as it is pushing the product towards the top

Julia Falbo it's called an airless pump bottle. Look it up, it's a great invention.

Julia Falbo It's an airless pump, when you use the product the bottom thing would move up so that you can get every drop of the product. It happens because of the vacuum. It's physics go search it somewhere if you want more detail. Also airless pumps usually are quite bulky so it probably won't have as much product as it looks like so i do recommend you check the volume of the product beforehand.

The dove and elf ones are air pumps which means that with every pump, the bottom raises to push out product. It is a very common packaging in makeup and skin care. Still has the same amount of product as a regular one tho!!

#23 is an airless pump when bought brand new the plastic plate on the bottom is on the bottom and as u use the product it moves up getting all of your product along w its it so there is no waste. (For more information about airless pumps you can go to the beauty news youtube channel they explain it there)

Have you seen how small toilet paper rolls have gotten? Then what was a regular roll is now advertised as "mega". What about chips being 1/2 a bag of air or how laundry detergent companies make the color of the lid say, dark blue, so you can't see the fill lines?!?
