I’ve started my eyelash business also in my home..I also received my Microblading license..but because of my state and county alot of rules here..I cannot go forward at this time with Microblading part of it.. it’s been alittle frustrating.. What’s you’re opinion on Branding your name vs Branding a made up name? I have a lash studio with no name because I am indecisive about my first & middle name vs ex. something like Sassy Lashes. I’m leaning towards my name with the word beauty or something added because when I saw this video I didn’t know what LivBay was, but I knew I was watching the right video because I knew it was Shauna and Mike. No matter the name I’m here for Shauna & Mike. I just don’t want to get a name that I have to change later. And also as a sole proprietor I read that you can have a name in your county as long as it’s not being used by someone else in the same county. (California). But my concern is what if on social media the name gets a big following and someone who has that name that has it as inc. or something has it as well. Does social media count with trade marks and inc. or is it just for paperwork and marketing on the actual brick and mortar location. & last question 🙏🏽 How do you know if someone on Instagram with a name is really a business? Anyone can make up a name and use it on ig even when they arnt legally a business.
