Perhaps you didn’t hear. President Biden signed a stimulus package worth *1.9 trillion* which included direct cash payments to people making less than $75K, $75B in relief for small businesses, $150B for schools, expanded unemployment benefits, eligibility for healthcare and Medicaid, and child tax credits. Literally every single Republican in the House voted against it. Literally every Republican in the Senate voted against it (or abstained).

This trip has earned Kenya a major non-NATO ally, this means Kenya will now be supplied with advanced military equipment as the gulf of eden and Al-Shabaab group from Somalia poses new security threats on the Horn of Africa. Another reminder why the poor needs to invest in education, because the business opportunities and funding from the west will strengthen Kenya far more than the cost of this trip. Next time it’s important to understand the significance behind shaping the future of Kenya as it’s now a recognized global player!
